Dresden D6 RPG Character Creation


1. Choose your template or make a unique one
2. Allocate Attribute Dice
3. Choose your Skills
4. Choose your Feats
5. Choose Supernatural Powers (if any)


Allocate Attribute Dice

If you are creating a unique template, you will need to allocate 18D to your six attributes, with a maximum for humans of 4D and a minimum attribute of 2D.

Choose your Skills

Choose your skills, if using a Unique Template, mark your template skills down on your character sheet and allocate dice to skills. Amount of pips/dice to allocate to skills is determined by the Level on the Character Progression chart.

Skills: 1pip=1pip

Advanced Skills: 2pips=1pip, will need GM permission for using Advanced Skills

Specialized skills: 1 pip=2pips, when first creating a character, you may have three specialized skills, no more no less. Or no specialized skills, three or none.


Choose your Feats

Based on the Level, you get a number of feats that you can choose for your character. Select which feats you want and make sure you have the necessary prerequisites (if any).

Choose Supernatural Powers (if any)

If your character, through feats, has supernatural powers, you can now add the ones you need to have.


Once you have completed the above, you are ready to game!
