Sontag explains that he has five redundant fall back plans, and that he should stand down. RC threatens to cut the good doctor's head off unless he releases the hostages and the Commander. RC's blade will not ignite, and the doctor stands down. The hostages are released and the doctor and his 'children' are locked in the brig. Rix and Bren see to releasing the hostages and freeing the Commander. Clean up ensues. Commander Brenan calls Eldress to his office and asks what she was thinking. Eldress tells Reti'klan that he can use the T-Wing to go home. But Reti'klan explains how far away home is and that he will stay until he can get a bigger ride back. He will help with Eldress' quest. Rix checks his A-Wing out and finds that the Comm system is keyed to a Imperial frequency. He also finds a Beacon transmitting behind the pilot's seat. SWR_215 | The Dragonfont pt1 | Grey flight gets pulled out of hyperspace and encounter the interdictor cruiser Container, and the gunship Defiler. Commander Drell leading the taskforce. On the bridge of the Defiler, he has the capured Bren Skarlo, to whom he boasts about the plan to capture his friends. Meanwhile RC sends the Red Impulse at high speed to the Container's bridge, intending to disable the sensors. However, Drell unleashes plan Blue. The tie bombers unleash ION Mines and activate them. The Red Impulse is disabled along with the ties and the Container. However, since this was planned, the Container is mostly intact. Aboard the Red Impulse, RC destroys the main drive of the Spy Repository, while Jowkaza and Eldress put the Shard kid, Droids, and Rix into escape pods. Eldress gives Jowkaza the Cobalt Limpet Mines, wired to a timer. They take station at opposite airlocks. Waiting. RC locks himself in the cockpit. During one of Drall's sneering remarks, Bren makes fun of him, gets punched and escorted off the bridge. He then uses his draconic powers to escape in the form of a katarn! Finding Georgie, he escapes into the engine room's ductworks. Meanwhile, the crew put up a fight, but are all eventually captured. SWR_216 | The Dragonfont pt2 | pt2 the Well Captured and stripped of their equipment, the Red Impulse left behind, Grey Flight is taken to the Well. The Well is a penal colony that mines, by hand, a rare substance called Draconium, which Malus uses for mysterious purposes. Once deposited at the bottom of the Well, the crew attempt to escape to no avail, so they are forced to mine. Rix regains consciousness and Eldress finds mining easy, since the Draconium is force imbued… this leads her to finding that the dragonfont or something like it to be here. She figures out that the remains of a building was a structure that once allowed the Dragons to enter the Dragonfont. Needing 5 type of individuals; will, force, mech, strength, perception to enter, Grey Flight goes. |

SWR_217 | The Dragonfont pt3 | pt3 Portents Grey Flight find themselves on Zolan, fighting with the local rebel cell, six months in the future, against the empire. Bren apparently has a girlfriend named Meloni, who leads the Zolan cell, and is working with Grey Flight to access the Dragonfont at the secret warehouse. Imperials are on the attack, and our guys help repel them, while Bren and Eldress work on figuring out why they are there. Both separately interface with the Dragonfont and eventually deduce that all five must touch the Dragonfont, which is manifested as a giant crystal, glowing from within, pulsing with energy. All touch the crystal, after Bren gives Meloni a kiss, for luck, and disappear in a flash of light. The team appears in a large chamber, on the end of a gantry/catwalk, with Malus and a heavily Cyborged Andar attempting to get to the crystal. They are blocked by the Kaa Ometiclan, and Lady Raau! Raau, yells to her sister, Eldress (!) to get out of here, before Malus gets to the Dragonfont and achieves physical form. After a brief fight, where RC kills Andar (ironic in some regards…) and malus is freed from containment again, the gang touches the crystal again. Now in a white featureless space, Bren, Eldress, and the rest realize now that they have to take the font to a new world and Eldress has been chosen, based on her abilities and purity, to be the vessel for the Dragonfont. She then takes in the energies and collapses on the floor, her hair now white. The white room fades and they find themselves still on The Well-world. Bren is healed of the dark entity growing in his brain, and Rix is also healed. The party now has a new member, the recently separated and very corporeal, Colonel Zareth Ausian Fraedon(!). They make their way out of the cave, and find themselves at the bottom of the Well, with nowhere to go but up, and out…. |

SWR_218 | Dragonfont pt 4 | pt4 Reunion The gang sneaks aboard the repulsor sled that is transporting minerals up to the floating fortress. Colonel, Bren, and Rix hide under minerals, while Jowkaza hangs from the bottom, with RC and Eldress clinging to him. They take out the guards and begin to infiltrate the facility. Thanks to the Colonel's brilliant planning(!), they easily handle most of the security hurdles. They eavesdrop on Commander Drell and Major Tavers, who inform them of the following: Tavers wants Bren for public Execution on Zolan, Captain Saars is tasked with finding the Fel Swoop, and Umbra base's weapon is almost ready. Eldress then uses technopathy to hack the camera system, and finds where all the troops are along with silverclaw. Silverclaw apparently uses some of the Draconium to snort it, which provides a rejuvenation of sorts, keeping him fit and young. Grey flight also finds most of their gear. The lightsaber and light foil are in the possession of silverclaw. Attacking the fortress control room and sensors, they are able communicate with the calvary that approaches from the freedom. Knave 1, Kara Corsair, assures that transport is coming and all will be well. Meanwhile RC and the rest make short work of the Control room guys. Unfortunately Bren has a complication, and the controller accidentially hits the alarm button. Silverclaw comes out and attacks, along with his Nexu. The Nexu give Jowkaza and Rex little pause, or is that paws, while Silverclaw attacks Eldress. Eldress, takes her saber back, but is unable to do much to stop Silverclaw, leaving Rix or Bren to stun him. Eldress then sets the ring elevator to automatic, so that the prisoners may escape the Well. The crew heads to the roof for the transport, and escape! RC's mom and pirate captain Eclissu are on the transport, helping to rescue them. Arriving onboard the Freedom, they find a crew wearing a mix of Old Republic naval uniforms and Clone trooper armor, along with more recent Rebellion garb. Some look like pirates, Most seem jovial or happy, Some seem in awe when Eldress appears, A few will say hi to RC or salute. A Lt Poderis escorts Eldress to see the Captain of the Freedom. The turbolift takes them up to the bridge and he leads her to a room just off the bridge, the Captain’s Ready Room. There is a large desk and some chairs, on one wall many objects and pieces of things on shelves. Portrait of five people, a model of a ARC-170. Behind the desk, rising from it’s chair is a woman, who appears to be 60 or 70 years old, with silver-white hair, similar to Eldress’ now, her face wrinkled somewhat with a very bad scar over her left side of her face. Part of the scar is hidden behind an eyepatch, concealing what remains of her left eye. She moves slowly and slightly unsteadily from behind the desk, a slight limp on the left, and her left arm doesn’t move smoothly either. But in her remaining eye, you see determination and defiance, fire that is not yet gone from her. She wears a white naval jacket with a Captain’s rank upon it. Grey trousers, and a belt with blaster and lightsaber. The lightsaber seems to be a similar make to the one Eldress had. Standing next to the desk, somewhat timidly and more uncertain, but certainly more friendly is a younger, more physically built man, wearing work overalls and a toolbelt, covered in engine grease. His eyes seem familiar too. They wait for Eldress’s next move…. |

It ends in a wall, so they abandon the boats to swim down into a tunnel. The tunnel leads to a built chamber, with…."Space Sharks", which the gang narrowly evades, to make their way into this complex. The Shark Feeder and assistant show up to feed the "Space Sharks", which leads to their capture. After interrogations, they find that they are in Rockakoola's place, modeled after Zolander's 9 Hells. They take the service elevator to the 1st level. They find a kitchen, a dressing room full of beautiful dancers in various states of preparedness, and a club. In the club area, patrons wait for the next dance act to begin. Other patrons are at tables eating raw meat. in the far corner, sits a hutt and his protectors, with two nexu on chains held by the hutt. Upon further examination, the gang finds that the patrons appear to be drugged somehow into a lustful frenzy. The dancer appears and begins her routine. Our gang begins to try to sneak to the doors leading out. They are noticed and intercepted. Fighting ensues. The doors out lead to a wall, so no way out. However, Jolith approaches the hutt, finding out that he is Rockakoola, who is obsessed with stories and mythology. She negotiates release by telling a story to the Hutt. Our gang is allowed to leave, wounded and beat-up, owing Rockakoola a favor. They find themselves in the biggest city of Zoland, and proceed to meet up with the rebellion. SWR_305 | Friends in High Places | The Crew comes up with a plan to rescue the Clawdites in the camps and to start up a domino effect for the other camps. First though, they need to get some resources together...Cue montage: Rix contacts the Eclissu Pirates, via Colonel Fraedon, his better half, to use the Nebulon Ranger for taking the camp survivors to sanctuary. Transports furnished by Rockakoola the Hutt, via a deal made by Bren and Jolith, involving a stolen original copy of the 9 Hells of Zolan by Pol Merios, and 5 kilos of Spice. Bren coordinates with Rebel Command to find a place for the victims to have sanctuary at, along with getting them to create a distraction. Orange and Diamond Squadrons are available. Shy finds her Duros paramour and entices him and four buds to help pilot the transport ships. Spice is transferred by Rix, Meloni, and Jowkazza, and the exchange happens with Jolith, Bren, and the sniper Jowkaza. Transports are obtained. The plan is then executed, with the Rebel Fleet sending in MC80 Independence, with squadrons Orange and Diamond. They create a merry ruckus in orbit, diverting the Imperial fleet, while Meloni’s Rebels, along with our group attacking the Belzoc camp. Rix, in his A-Wing, blows the north and south gates, while strafing the guard towers. He attempts to destroy the parked Delta-class T-3c shuttle on the landing pad, unsuccessfully. While he comes around for another pass, Jowkaza and Jolith enter one of the buildings via window, startling a doctor there. Shy starts to snicker-snack the Stormtroopers, along with Bren. On his next pass, Rix destroys the landing pad and Delta-class shuttle, along with both the guard towers. By this time, Jolith and Jowkaza take the doctor prisoner and head for the elevator. In a exam room accross the hall, they find the radio operator, Quara Varos, who sent the clone wars era beacon out. An enemy of Bren’s that framed him for murder at Yavin Base. They proceed down to the 2nd sub level seeking the computer core. On the surface, Shy and Bren begin to head into the building that Jolith and Jowkaza went into, while Rix flys cover overhead. Meloni and her Rebel troops enter the other buildings. To Be Continued…. |

SWR_306 | Friends in Low Places | Grey Flight continues the liberation of Belzoc camp, freeing mutilated and starving Clawdites from the facility. Jowkaza and Jolith encounter Malus on Sublevel 1, Jolith dialogs with Malus while Jowkaza gets a slice. Jowkaza begins retreating and tossing a glop grenade at him, only to have it be returned, blocking the passage. Upstairs, Shy and Bren free more prisoners, finding them in various states, then coming downstairs to meet with Jowkaza and Jolith. Rix takes on flights of Tie fighters, with a Tie Bomber. His laser cannons blow a capacitor, and he takes on a unorthodox plan of boarding a Tie, while sending his A-Wing back to base. He almost falls to his death, but luckily grabs a conduit on the Tie. Hanging on for dear life, he climbs up and takes the craft over. Shy releases more prisoners, while Bren, Jolith, and Jowkaza are attacked by Malus, via the force. He uses Drain Life on them, with Jowkaza unaffected, Jolith barely hit, and Bren Mortally wounded. Shy takes Bren to the surface, along with the rest of the prisoners, to one of the arriving transports, dropping him off to Meloni’s care. Meloni’s team has secured the command facility and obtained data from the computers. Bren starts to slowly recover. Jolith and Jowkaza find stairs to the next level down and begin to explore. Rix begins to carve up and divide the ties, eliminating the bomber before it begins bombing the base. Jowkaza and Jolith find more labs with even more torturous experiments happening, and then find the lower level of the computer lab. A storm commando fights with Jowkaza while Jolith uploads the message and downloads the data. The commando is killed and the data taken, so they run like hell. Malus on their heels. Shy and Bren board a transport as Jolith and Jowkaza rejoin them. Using the cannons, they finish off the ties. Rix meets up with the transport and docks, abandonning the Tie. The transports escape from Zolan and meet up with the Neblulon Ranger. Captain Eclissu and Meloni help Bren to the Med Bay, while Jolith seeks out something interesting. Rix and Jowkaza mill about. Nebulon Ranger finishes loading prisoners and jumps to meet up with the fleet at Rendezvous Beta. |

SWR_307 | Rendezvous Beta | The Grey crew leave Bren to the tender mercies of Bacta and Debriefing while high command in the form of Commodore Rei Daydos, send the rest out to steal a transport from the empire. During debriefing, it is revealed by Rei, that Malus is the evil side of a friend, that was created when he encountered a artifact. Unfortunately there is no way to rejoin Evil side with good side. He is helping with the experiments on Zolan in order to engineer a host body. So that he will have a physical form again. It’s always been an obsession with him. Hence the testing: Malus was trying to figure out sensitivity to certain radiation types and em transmissions. Traveling to Ord Zathar, they infiltrate the supply post and Jolith finds a vent. They plan to knock out the power and create a distraction, while slipping away with the ship. They find two Gozanti cruisers, and prepare their distraction. Shy hotwires a speeder bike to run amok while Rix, dressed as an imperial Colonel, antagonizes and confuses imperials. Jolith finds the power core, and setups a program to randomly shut off the power throughout the base. She then finds a room with tac displays which she then steals the data from. The guys make it to the Gozantis and now plan to steal both. Using subterfuge, they prep the ships to depart and leave the base. In orbit a imperial light cruiser attempts to intercept, when a Interdictor cruiser shows up. It doesn’t believe the ruse our gang presents and begins interdiction operations. SWR_308 | The Great Escape, part 1 | Grey Flight meets up with the fleet, and have a meeting with Mon Mothma, Admiral Akbar, Cmdr. Brenan, and Commodore Daydos. They discuss with Bren as to the viability of freeing Zolan from the Empire and setting up the pipeline. It’s agreed to finish evacuating the camp prisoners and setting up a sanctuary world for them. Bren is ordered to take Grey Flight and the two Gozanti ships, to rescue as many Clawdites as possible. They will meet up with Nebulon Ranger and then transport the prisoners from there. Bren heads to Horos to get security credentials for the blockade. He encounters local crime boss Phobos, who needs a team to break out a associate of his from the local imperial prison. Grey Flight proceeds to infiltrate the spaceport traffic control and cause chaos to happen. During the chaos, they retrieve the associate and return to Phobos. They get their Credentials and leave Horos. |

SWR_309 | The Great Escape, part 2 | After leaving Horos, the transports arrive at Zolan and begin the op. Each transport arrives and begins loading containers with the prisoners on it. Each camp has our captains take Data Cubes of all the research data on it. Each one is asked about their service. Rix screws his roll, tipping his hat. From there, the containers are loaded and they move on to the other camps. Jolith examines the cubes, but can’t read them, the data is compressed and encrypted. By the time they make it to camp 5, the jig is up and Grey Flight fights off stormtroopers and escape. They make a risky jump from Zolan and eventually meetup with the Nebulon Ranger, after checking for transmitters. After unloading the prisoners onboard the Ranger, they are given orders to send the transports away and take the Ranger to the fleet. Enroute, they place the Data Cubes in their quarters, telling Jolith not to mess with them. Jolith’s obsession with knowledge gets the better of her, and she quietly steals the cubes taking them to the computer core. It will take hours to decompress and decrypt. The next morning, the ship drops out of hyperspace and power starts cutting off and on. Out in the hall, several of the Clawdites begin transforming and becoming monsters. Malus’ voice comms over the speaker: “My dear dear rebel friends. I feel… compelled to explain myself to you. Especially Bren Skarlo. I’m sorry your people have been suffering so. Keep in mind, it is a small percentage of a small percentage that has suffered. But it has furthered the march of science and understanding. Their sacrifice is not without meaning. Speaking of which, your race’s genome, the clawdite genome, more specifically, is amazingly pliable. It can be reprogrammed and resequenced so easily. Not to mention that we found a catalyst that we could inject to set a time limit and other conditional factors to have on a subject. Or Subjects….Ah yes. So to this experiment: Will you, Bren Skarlo of the valiant Rebel Alliance, be able to euthanize-kill the people you came to save? I do so wish Eldress was here! I know what she would do. I wonder what your answer will be.” The monsters begin attacking!!! Jolith b-lines it to the computer core, using conduits and maintenance crawlways and other means, while Rix and Bren stun the victims. Jokaza starts mowing down the ones he encounters, while Shy heads for the hangar bay to close all the doors off. Fighting ensues, and eventually, Jolith makes it to the computer core. She finds that this is a AI virus that is trying to get access to the comm system and will transmit its location when it gets into it. Jolith is able to let the others know about the AI virus “Malus Jr.” and tell them to secure the comms and life support or the bridge. Bren and Rix head for the bridge, and Jowkaza heads for life support. Shy encounters some red blade fanatics, but is able to secure the main hanger bay. Making their way a little later, they sneak past and subdue troopers on the way to the airlock. Boarding the facility, Jolith makes contact with the computer system, the entity called Gorvalo. As they sneak around and converse, the group finds and subdues more troopers. Jolith and Bren convince Gorvalo to lead them to the throne room, where they eavesdrop on Malus. He is holding court over Colonel Zareth and Captain Eclissu. Malus sends them away with Lady Raau to the prison cells. Jolith, on further discussions with Gorvalo, finds out that he is a living being, not a AI, and is a caretaker for the facility. The facility is named the Dragon's Breath and it was the weapon the dragons used to wipe out life in the Ash Worlds. The Hutts bargained with the dragons to have the weapon made and used, to take out their rival, Xim the Despot. Also from the throne room, they find out from Jowkaza and Shy that they are in the Ash Worlds sector, above the Well of Storms. Quickly assessing the situation, along with input from Rix, Bren decides to split the party. One group, with Shy and Jowkaza, go to disable the tractor beam. While the other group, Bren, Rix, and Jolith go to the communications suite to call up the fleet to destroy the place. Shy and Jowkaza successfully make it to the tractor beam controls and partial disable it, but not before alerting some techs there. Fighting ensues. Meanwhile, Bren, Rix, and Jolith get to the transmitter and make contact with Freedom. Shy pulls away from the quickly approaching atmosphere, only to have two mandalorian Fang fighters appear from hyperspace and attack. Through maneuvering and deft gunnery from Bren and Zehmi, they take out the fighters. Jowkaza also blocks comms. While scanning the area, Jowkaza detects a faint IFF transponder, the Aliance Cruiser Grey Damsel. Tracing the signal, they find it down on the planet: a crashed MC80 Mon Cal cruiser! Their hyperdrive damaged, and needing to find where they are, they proceed to the Damsel. Landing in the hanger bay, they begin investigating. Dash checks out the Baxial for a tracker beacon and finds one, disabling it. Bren finds many dead bodies and inert droids. Activating one, R2-G4 (dubbed Geoff), he finds that the ship escaped from Tak Base after an imperial attack. Jowkaza and Jolith begin interrogating the computer terminal in the hanger and find that the ship was boarded by robotic Dark Troopers! Meanwhile, Shy and Zehmi find the doors to the main cooridor out of the hanger and call everyone to them. Bren and Dash decide to disable the transponder, disable internal defenses, check out the bridge, and firstly, raid the armory…As a group they make way for the armory, finding weapons, comms, clothes, and an A-280CFE for Bren. Jolith finds recording rods and a computer terminal, downloading the final two days of the Grey Damsel. Making way for the bridge, the gang eventually enters and power up the consoles. Finding that the ship was attacked by at least six Dark Trooper droids, all the crew dead. When the ship crashed, most droids went to power standby. The ship was set to minimal power. Bren or someone, grabs the captain's data rods and goes through their logs. Tak Base was attacked by the Dark Troopers, launching from a massive ship called the Arc Hammer. It was in orbit along with a ISD, the Devastator, shortly before the events of Rogue One. While jumping out of Tak space, the ship is ravaged by the Dark Trooper droids. With no one manning the controls, the ship travels through hyperspace until intercepting with this world and crashing here. Finding the transponder only able to be shutdown from the transponder room belowdecks, with the captain's datarod, they cautiously head down. They proceed to the wiring closet, not the room itself, just in case a surprise awaits them in there. However, the surprise comes from the turbo lift, two dark troopers emerge and begin attacking. Shy is knocked down by a missile, while Zehmi uses her hammer on them. A third droid appears and is destroyed. One of the droids was disabled, and Jolith raids its memory. Confirming the previous details. Also naming General Rom Mohc as being in charge of the project. After putting Shy in the med bay's refreshed bacta tank, the crew begin work, with the help of the droids on board, to fix up 3 x-wings, and the Baxial's hyperdrive. They also seal up the ship and leave instruction for the droids to keep the Grey Damsel secured. Grey Flight leaves for Karinda Outpost. |

His prisoner ID is X-6320 Grey Flight flies a U-wing to Lotho Major and infiltrate the prison. Bren and Jolith make way into the back door, letting the rest of the team in. They then proceed deeper into the prison, leaving Shy, Zehmi, and Jowkaza behind. Making it to the -5 level, they run into troopers and fail at bluffing their way. They run up the elevator shaft to -4 level and jump into that level. Meanwhile, with the alarms going off, the rest of the crew make way to -5 level by climbing up the outside and blowing a hole in -5 level. They then climb the ladder to -4 level. They then blow a hole in the door, rescuing Bren and Jolith. After some fighting, the stormtroopers on this level are taken out and Jolith finds where the prisoner is being kept. Jowkaza finds the Prisoner X-6320, Crix Madine. They then proceed to escape the prison, while being pursued. Flying their speeder bikes through the underground tunnels, evading the scout troopers, and making it back to the U-wing. Jumping for home. |

SWR_404 | Code Name: Fire Bat | Grey Flight returns to the Geist and deliver Colonel Madine to the Alliance. Bren plays sabaac with Madine and R2-G4, findng out that Geoff has a gambling suite and drink dispenser. Shy and Jokaza are sent to medical to heal up, while jolith goes seeking the hidden sabaac game below decks. When she finds it, she is called back to mission briefing for their next mission. The team is being sent to Greyman's Planet to meet asset codename: Fire Bat. They fly the U-Wing, but are intercepted by a blockade, who escort them down to the planet. Once landing, Shy uses her….assets, err to boondoggle the Imperial troops and Lt. The team slips away, with Jolith interrogating a Probe Droid, and find our contact at a bar near by. Entering the bar, Jolith eavesdrops on two Klatuu in the back corner of the bar. They describe a thing that their boss, Rockakoola the Hutt, is looking for. Jolith is discovered and finds out that Rocka is looking for her! A price is on her head! Meanwhle, Bren discovers their contact went out the back. Shy and Grey flight stop the two goons from taking Jolith, and Jolith sneaks out back, finding Fire Bat dead, with an ISB agent and two stormtroopers waiting for the meatwagon. Back in the bar, two troopers come in, to check everyone's scandocks. Bren, Jowkaza, Zhemi, and Shy make short work of them. Jowkaza looks out the front door, and sees 30 troops, a troop transport, 2 AT-STs. He wires the door to blow if it is opened. Out back, Jolith sneaks up on the body of the hapless Fire Bat and finds two securicards, one for bay 2839 and the other marked with a Red Dagger. She then finds Lt. Rath, the ISB agent with his blaster pointed at her head. Shy comes out and threatens Rath. He seems to know both of them, and ready for most of their actions. Zehmi comes out and hits him with the hammer. Bren and Jokaza help take the troopers out and the crowd escaping the bar help cover our team's retreat. In the sewers, the team finds a covert group of Wookiee navigators, part of the Clatuuvic Guild. Jowkaza gets his stuff back. Popping up at bay 2839 from the sewers, Ion grenades take out troopers weapons and comms. Short work are made of them and they pry the door open to the bay, finding more troopers and a YT-1000 with red markings. Wading through them, the team boards the ship, Red Dagger, and escapes. |

SWR_405 | The Quagmire | Headed back to the Geist, the crew of the Red Dagger explore their new ship. Finding a kyber crystal, various gems, and exotic foodstuffs in a hidden cargo area, along with many bloody memories. When Bren communicates with Geist and finds their orders changed, they are to turn around and head to Slotern system and assist with evac of a base there. Quagmire base. Arriving in-system, they see no enemy and proceed to the base. Quagmire base's commander greets them and find out that comms have been jammed. Right then ISDs appear and landing craft come in. Bren and the others shore up defenses the best they can, while flying interference. Zehmi and Bren take out AT-STs while the Red Dagger takes out two AT-ATs. | None | 37:09:20 |
SWR_406 | The Menagerie | Arriving back at the Geist with survivors of Quagmire base, Grey Flight aboard the Red Dagger. Upon disembarking, Bren meets Commander Ranson who wants to brief Grey Flight on their next mission. They have finished debriefing Madine about Weaponeer Corp. Before going to the meeting with Commander Ranson, Bren has R2-G4 "Geoff" attempt to decrypt the files in Red Dagger's computers. Geoff is able to unencrypt one file, with many Pirate locations and Hyperroutes. Grey flight heads to the briefing, after dropping off some of their treasure to the Alliance. From the meeting: They have Two known locations: HQ tower and something called the Menagerie, both on Greyman's Planet, Slotern System, Sa’Jaharan Cityplex. There are 3 other holdings out there, locations unknown: Slave Population, Industrial site, and a possible hidden base. There is a event happening at the Menagerie in a couple days time. Local Rebel Cell will furnish ids and invites. Contact with the cell is at a cantina near the spaceport, order a drink and sit in booth. Passphrase: "The Gundarks are fed." Return Phrase: "However, they are still angry." Codename of the contact: Zookeeper… Infiltrate the Menagerie, and make friends with Kannon. Also note who you see there. After becoming friends, infiltrate HQ, while keeping Kannon distracted. So the team will be split, Bren and Shy to the party, Geoff, Zehmi, Jolith, and Jokaz to the server room. Geoff is outfitted with a dataspike, and slicing software database. The team grabs gear, outfits, and head out. Jowkaza has a complication on the astrogation and the ship emerges in the outer atmo of Greyman's Planet! Spaceport control gives Shy hell and she is able to right the ship and land. Bren greets the Port authority who give s them a 1k fine for bad astrogation. Bren states that he doesn't have the money now, but can pay later. So the ship has a gravity lock put on it until the fine is paid. Bren does pay the 125cr docking fee, however. Eventually the team makes it to the designated Cantina, 5 min before the designated time. Ordering some Corellian Whiskey, and telling the bartender, about the Gundarks, the bartender, laconically asks what does he want? However, after sitting down with the team a stranger in robes approaches, and says the counterphrase, lowering his hood revealing Dash Lergo! He warmly greets everyone, handing out the invites and IDs. He informs them about what little is know of both locations. He has a service speeder van for the computer team and a limo speeder for the party team. At the party, Shy and Bren encounter a disguised Dash, posing as an Old Republic Colonel, asks Shy to dance. Bren hits the bar and observes a Mudhorn walking by. Kannon and Bast are across the room observing the festivities. Infiltration team makes their way through the service corridor to the subbasements of Weaponeer HQ, encountering little resistance. Shy and Dash ID several people around the room: Van Dolard, former senator, rebel backer Major Zar Rath, Special Weapons, Imperial Navy Kio Laug- White collar criminal Pior Leonson- Slaver, Trafficker Lors Tambren-Drug designer However, Trang Bast recognizes Shy, and asks her to come with him… Meanwhile, infil team makes it to the computer center and begin launching the spike. Two troopers on patrol enter the space, only to be taken out by Zehmi and Jowkaza. Behind a curtain, Bast begins to search Shy for weapons, finding the shiv, missing the holdout blaster. Bren approaches Kannon, and begins to make entreaties to him. However, Shy's attempts to shoot Bast alert Kannon to the trouble, offering Bren to come along. He tells Bren to kill Shy, so Bren shoots Bast's rocket pack. Shy already appropriated one blade from Bast, and then gets another after Bast drops it while flying across the room. Shy wastes no time putting the new blade under Bren's crotch and then shoves the other in Kannon's chest, mortally wounding him. Shy and Bren make a discrete run out of the place. Infil team finishes the grab and head out, encountering 4 more troopers. Making easy work of them, they head out. Bren and Shy meet up with the team and head for the spaceport. Bren stops at the kiosk to pay his fine, and the crew preps the ship. From the gunport, while the ship takes off, Zehmi sees Bast atop the docking bay watching the Red Dagger leave……. |

SWR_407 | The Playground | Grey Flight makes it to the rendezvous, find the tracer that Bast put onboard, and send Geoff out to check out the tracer mounted onboard. With a jaunty wave, he knocks it off the ship. Jowkaza or someone comms the Geist and Waves them off from the meeting. They are sent to Point Gamma-3 to rendezvous with the Sovereign, a former Mon Cal exploration ship. After docking and greetings, they are led through the ship to meet with Capt Rohc, dark grey Mon Cal like Reddic. They go over the chart that Alliance intel sent, along with holo projections of Gen Syndulla and Col Ranson. Next mission is to the planet Doriella, Doriella System, opposite hemisphere of the Devastated cities and internment camps. A world known for it's natural resources, now a slave camp, while it's riches are taken for the Empire. Among the grasslands, there sits a cabin, the Playground, where technologist Razor works his uh, work. Go there and capture him. Grey Flight outfit themselves and head for Doriella, jumping in behind a moon, and passively scanning the area. They find several satellites and evade them by flying a circuitous route via the north pole and the moons. Flying low to the ground, they land the Red Dagger in a landing field several kilometers out from the cabin. They proceed cautiously on foot to the location. Along the way they notice local alien creatures that look part ant-eater/meercat that seem to be following them. Small ones .25 meters tall or larger ones closer to a meter tall. They lure some of the party, whereby items are stolen from that person, with rocks, nuts, and even sticks replacing them (equivalent weights). Eventually the aliens get all of Jowkaza's stuff, along with most of the party, and then he looses his shit. Begins opening fire, element of surprise is lost. The aliens drop a ion grenade, shorting everyone's stuff. Eventually, after some negotiations, the group gets their gear back. Finally arriving at the cabin, cautiously investigate it, until Jolith finds a hatch in the floor, which then zaps her, bad enough to mortally wound. Jowkaza medpacs her to incapacitated. He carries her in a backpack from this point on. The crew make their way down the long well to nearly the bottom when the ladder recedes, and a hatch closes above, chopping Bren's rope. They begin to fall. Zemi is able to land ok, while Jokaza catches and slows everyone's decent. Landing at the bottom, they find a grided space. Gravity shifts to the farside and they are pulled to it. Grey Flight are able to make checks to avoid much damage. The room then shifts to a space view and gravity goes weightless with a weak field to the middle. Razor speaks to them: “I control this space! I decide the vertical and the horizontal!” “If I wanted, I could make this as airless as space, but first I want to work out an idea I had.” A smoke monster appears and begins to head towards the guys. Repeated blaster bolts make it bigger. It also swallows Zehmi's hammer! Bren notices that it is using a holo-projection, so decides to go inside the illusion.Shy uses her willpower to try to resist the illusions, only to hear a voice say "Remember!". Jowkaza fires projectile rounds, causing damage, where they find softball sized drones. So Jowkaza then sends an Ion grenade, breaking the smoke monster. During the melee, the unconscious Jolith is missing! Bren, Shy, and Zehmi begin to try to find the walls in the place. They discover grids of holoprojectors and begin dismantling them. Jolith awakens in a very small conduit, with a Alien above her, with a disgusting smelling organic waste product under her nose. They motion her to follow them, and she crawls along, finding a vent in Razor's throne room, where he is coordinating the Playground's holo-sim and planning a even deadlier action. Scooting down the vent a little further, she finds a locker room/staging area for Razor and his armor. Seeing a computer interface, she makes her way from the vent to the console and discovers that Razor and the rest of the seven have a implant that will, upon their deaths, send a Starburst Bomb to an undisclosed system. So they can't be killed. She also finds the controls for the Playground room, shutting it down, while creating a projection in Razor's throne room that it is still running. Satisfied that Grey Flight is killed, he goes to his staging room, where Jolith hides, and doffs his armor, just in time for Jowkaza, Zehmi, Shy, and Bren to come in and begin the beat down. Luckily, Jolith informs them of the implant, and Razor, beaten, but still alive, is captured. Meanwhile the Aliens were busy sabotaging the power source of the base, which goes critical and explodes while Grey Flight leaves the planet aboard the Red Dagger. |

SWR_408 | Problems with Rocks | Grey Flight leaves Doriella to meet up with Geist, Razor as a prisoner in the lounge. Bren sits with him, as Shy and Jowkaza get the ship jumping into hyperspace. Jolith is put into the bacta tank and Zehmi is in the gunport. After securing in hyperspace, Jowkaza goes to get some sleep. Shy womans the cockpit, while Bren sits with an unconscious Razor. 1.5 hours into the trip, the ship is violently tossed out of hyperspace, an asteroid is in the way! Shy pulls on the controls, barely scraping a loop out of the way. She raises shields and the alarm, alerting the crew to battlestations. Bren drags a complaining Razor to the med bay, where C2-1B awaits with a sedative.(!!) Jowkaza heads for the cockpit, jumping on weapons from there. Jolith sloshes in the bacta tank. Zehmi and Bren man the turrets. A customized Belbullab-22 starfighter, fires at the Red Dagger, despite Shy's evasions, hits, but the shields hold. It then flies past, circling around. The other Belbullab-22, 4 dunelizards, and 2 Kimogilas bombers also attack. Shy begins to try and get out of there, running into a powerful Ion Mine that Belbullab-22 tossed in the Red Dagger's flight path. Many systems are disabled, and the ship begins to careen out of control. Racing around the ship, Shy, Geoff, and a decanted Jolith try to bring the ship back up. Geoff rolls a complication and disables the hyperdrive, right when Jowkaza tries to set coordinates for a microjump. Then someone docks with the top hatch. Bren and Shy move into position, ready to ambush. Zehmi tries to effect repairs to the weapons systems, to no avail. A very large Coynite male drops down from the hatch, brandishing a solid metal hammer and a sword. He declares he is Mal Afeg Th'aya and he is here on behalf of Rocakakola. He requests they drop their weapons, and prepare for an audience. He ID's both Shy and Bren, while asking (belowing) for where the cowardly traitor and unworthy Zehmi Aya Lh’Sratt is. (ohh damnnn) Bren stands down and will see Rockakola, while Shy, dealing with insults from Mal, doesn't stand down. Shy launches several attacks which are parried off, which are returned, one is parried, the other, from his hammer are not. Shy goes down hard, with a crunch. Mal proceeds to the rest of the ship, Bren takes Shy to the Medbay. Zehmi and Mal trade barbs and blows. Jowkaza, sprints to his portable subspace radio, calling the Geist and apprising them of the situation and coordinates. Zehmi hits Mal point blank with a "one in a million shot" with her hammer, sending him into a far wall, damaging it. Obviously staggered, he still retains his footing, and sends his own hammer at her, knocking her out. Victorious, he greets the guards that come aboard from Rockakola's Yacht, the "A Long Story". Our wounded tended to and the rest escorted, to a waiting room. Jolith grabs some things from the smuggling compartment, noting that the Kyber crystal vibrates near Shy. 21 hours later, Zehmi, Jolith, and Shy are healed. Grey Flight is brought to the rather lavish throne room of Rockakola, where they are greeted by his eminence. He proceeds to ask if Jolith will repay her debt to him. She asks what he has in mind? Rockakola wants her to go to Christophsis, the former city of Tophen, and find the Journal of the Whills, early printing, chapter 4, section 8. An extremely rare text. Jolith is intrigued, realizing that the Journal was written by the Whills, a community of beings, strong in the force. Some stories say they were microbiotic beings who fed off the Force and controlled the entire universe. They were capable of creating certain destinies for people, such as the Chosen One prophecy. Same stories stated that all living things were only vessels for the Whills to travel around in, and the midi-chlorians served as a conduit. Essentially, in a general sense, the Whills were the Force. Other stories considered them Oracles, capable of giving prophecy. She tentatively agrees. He asks her what she needs to accomplish the task. After some discussion, Bren speaks up that the team owes the debt, not just Jolith. Jolith also says that the team is needed, for she can't do this alone. Rockakola wants to know how Redblade the pirate, who wants Bren for the theft of his ship, the Red Dagger, will be compensated, or Mal for Zehmi, who wants revenge on her, or Kannon who wants Shy, for the wounds inflicted upon him by her, or Razor who is wanted by his peers at Weaponeer Corp. How can he compensate them? Jolith steps up and places a Nova Crystal on the step, and offers the info found at Razor's place. After explaining what Weaponeer Corp is doing and the danger of the Starburst Bomb, Rockakola considers this. He will not take the information being provided, because he wants Grey Flight to destroy that weapon. They can use that information more than he. Dead customers can't pay. He decides to give the group 5 days before allowing Mal to hunt them again. He allows Zehmi her hammer back, and orders the team to bring him the artifact. No going back to the rebellion. He holds Razor hostage as insurance. The team accepts the terms. Headed back to the repaired Red Dagger, they proceed from Kira system to Christophsis, stopping to send a msg to the cloud, in the event they fail, so the Rebellion can find Razor. Bren checks Geoff's software for any updates, and finds none, save the slicing upgrades and crypt software. |

SWR_409 | Rock of the Church | Dropping off at Mon Gazza to transmit their msg to the rebellion, Grey Flight is ambushed, yet again as they emerge from lightspeed! Why does this keep happening? Nonetheless, the valiant crew leave after blasting a couple ships and jump for Christophsis. Finding a blockade, Geoff and Bren manage to con their way through, while Lt Rath notes their passing aboard the ISD Relentless. He prepares a team to meet them down there. Shy lands the Red Dagger in the devastated city of Tophen. Sneaking among the ruins, the team makes it to the lower level, where the Church of the force is located. Shy and Zehmi go through a hole on the west wall, while the rest of the team, plus Geoff go through the southern main entrance. They are greeted by a older human, who calls himself Lor San Tekka. He protects the church and describes it as a vergence in the force. Asking why they have come, Jolith describes what they are looking for. Lor San Tekka states that to access the archive, they must go through trials, like the Jedi did, in the past. Meanwhile, Zehmi and Shy encounter the darkside of the force, and fight visions of the past or skewed reality. After several badly made tests and stuff, the main group come to the courtyard, where a very large kyber crystal sat. Zehmi, still in the darkside portion, figures out to push her will through the hammer, which pushes the darkness back enough for Shy to come back to reality. They both hold the hammer together and push back the darkness with their willpower. The darkness collapses to an opening in the floor, where, they replace the stone over the opening. Rejoining the rest of the party, they then all work on moving the stone, by touching it and pushing their will through it. (Sound familiar?) The stone lowers into the ground even further, revealing a stairwell. The crew head down to find several chambers, much like the vatican catacombs. Jolith finds the chamber with the book. However, there is a warning, “Leave something of equal value to you behind to take what you take” Not sure if the warning was from Lor San Tekka or the force in the room. Either way, Jolith leaves the “Remember” kyber crystal behind. Book in her satchel, Jolith and the rest of the crew make way for the Red Dagger, and head out for Rockakola at the Kira system. |

SWR_410 | Fallen Sovereign | Grey Flight arrives at the Kira system after a couple of days travel. During the trip, Jolith and Bren work on copying the book of the Whills volume, to have the info from it. Arriving at the A Long Story, they dock and are greeted by Rockakola’s security and Major Domo. Escorted to the now familiar throne room, Rockakola greets them and asks how it went. Jolith then goes into detail about the fun. She presents the book. Rockakola accepts. He also imparts information (for free) about how the Red Dagger is being tracked: A Shadowfeed posts locational data on the ship periodically. The known subscribers are: Redblade the Pirate Trang Bast-and probably the Shadow Seven... Bounty Hunters Guild Rockakola Silver Claw - Pirate encountered him during Dragonfont Saga Nadira infochant/shadow repository that worked with Malus. Gave Bren an egg once…. N’Talmor - Coynite arms merchant Mal Afeg Th’aya -Coynite warrior wanting Hyvä'So'tava'sara in his more approps hands After this info dump, Razor is remanded to their custody, not much worse for wear. Grey Flight leaves and communicates with Rebel Command and find out where to meet up. They say Rendezvous with Sovereign at Point Gamma-4. Enroute, Bren comes up with a plan to use ship’s sensors and portable scanners onboard to see if they can detect signals going out. Arriving at Gamma-4, the team docks with the Sovereign, finding that the hatches and elevator are a little wonky. Cmdr Ranson is there to greet them with a security detail to take Razor in. Depositing Razor with them, Ranson has a meeting with them to go over new intel. Madine put in charge of Alliance SpecForce, as a General; Grey Flight will be folded into SpecForces as a Mission Group-Come up with a name-This mission group is answerable to Commander Ranson, General Madine, and Alliance High Command. That’s it. His next order of business: Promotions and awards! Bren is promoted to Major, and in charge of the new Mission Group <Insert Name here>, folded into SpecForces. Gen Syndulla put it in after the Grey Damsel mission (402, 403), also awarded: Redbird x3, Bronze Nova, Kalidor Crescent Shy is promoted to Captain, and brought over to SpecForces, under Major Skarlo. Awards: Redbird x5, Superior Service Medal, Platinum Valor Cross, Bronze Nova for Conspicuous Gallantry. Jowkazza is field promoted from Master Chief to Lieutenant, under Major Skarlo. Awards: Redbird x4, Superior Service Medal, Bronze Nova for Conspicuous Gallantry. Zehmi is promoted to Warrant Officer and detached from Dash Lergo, attached to Major Skarlo’s unit. Awarded: Redbird x1, Superior Service Medal, Bronze Nova for Conspicuous Gallantry. Jolith is promoted to Master Sergeant, “For somewhat unorthodox service and an amazing lack of understanding of protocols and chain of command, the higher ups still see fit to promote you to Master Sergeant, attached to the new team under Major Skarlo. May the Force have mercy on their souls. Excellent work, congratulations. “ Awards: Redbird x2, Cross Crosslet, Bronze Nova for Conspicuous Gallantry. Congratulations abound, the team is sent to the Rec lounge to enjoy some rare downtime. Major Skarlo and Cmdr Ranson continue to confer. Taskforce Cresh is being formed and under Bren’s command. Details to follow. Ru’Ok is next. The Creche is on Dorriella. (Pg 4 of Wazta Sector Book). Taskforce is to take out Weaponeer Corp and Project Retribution Meanwhile on the rec deck, the former Grey Flight enjoy some libations, when the ship suddenly jumps to hyperspace. Jolith, going to the bar’s computer finds the bartender droid, whose eyes suddenly go red and pulls a blaster from below the bar. Jolith wisely ducks below and the team flies into action! Meanwhile Meanwhile, Bren and Ranson encounter two protocol droids armed with blasters, entering the briefing room! Duck and Cover, boys! Quickly Bren and the others discover comms are being jammed, and proceed to destroy the droids. Jolith finds she can’t touch them due to their surfaces being electrified. She commandeers a probe, to know if a surface is electrified. Jolith evades like crazy, and finds a maintenance shaft. Shortly thereafter, the team follows her, and find a shaft to the main computer. They find two ID9 droids interfaced with the computer. After Destroying them, and Jolith touching the computer, she finds the infection. It is designed to keep tabs on Red Dagger’s positional info, via subspace comms headers and mission orders, infect the droids on the ship, so they can infect others, and when commanded, send the Sovereign with Grey Flight, to a predetermined position, where a Imperial task force awaits: Star Destroyer Resolute, Gladiator ISD Sathanas, and Interdictor Immobilizer. Regaining control, Sovereign is pulled out of hyperspace. |

SWR_411 | The Creche part 1 | The sovereign takes five days to arrive at Remitik Rebel Repair Yards so Mission Group Dagger enjoys some down time. Jowkaza tries to find a way to sell his No-Daichi, to no avail. However, Jolith discovers the black market with some interesting crystals and other artifacts. As she contemplates them, MG Dagger is called to the briefing room. They are to proceed to Doriella to capture Ruu-Ock and find his connections to Project Retribution, The Body Shop, and the rest of Weaponeer Corp’s plans. Major Skarlo chooses to bring Green Squad- Infiltrators led by Sergeant Greene, along with two zydeco style boats, and Air masks. Jowkaza grabs up 3 Ion and 3 Frag grenades. Maj Skarlo also employs his new Procurement Officer, Na'varra Meras to provide a cover id for the Red Dagger, as carpet salesmen…. En route, Jolith attempts to query Green Squad, but Sgt Greene subsequently tapes her to a wall along with her mouth. Jolith doesn’t enjoy this much…. Jowkazza astrogates a course that leads the Red Dagger to pop out of hyperspace near one of the four moons of Doriella, before quickly entering the atmo of the planet. Flying low and slow, Shy pilots the ship for a small islet of land near the island where the Creche sits. Scouting around, the team finds a oval structure with lights on, and three doors, open. They head for the west door, while Green team take the other two. They encounter three flesh golems armed with vibroaxes, guarding an large opening in the floor. Upon entering the team attacks the golems, felling them somewhat easily. Jolith notices markings around the rim of the opening as the languages of the Krath, a Sith offshoot, known for their alchemy, monster creations, and other unnatural things! Bren also notices Krath writing and finds his indicates a number, 5. He peers over the edge, and as if on cue a tendril reaches out from the darkness and snatches him down. He then continues down a fleshy tube where his is transported to a chamber. Jolith quickly surmises that pressing the number 5 will lead to the Major. Tendrils lash out and takes a willing Jolith, along with not so willing Green Squad and Zehmi. Shy and Jowkazza evade the tendrils and remain where they are. Pulled down after the Major, they land in a slime covered heap atop poor Bren Scarlo, getting up, they find themselves surrounded by Flesh Golems, type 1 and 2, Fleshmouthers, gibbering mouthers, and upon a pillar, stand three figures, one red, one purple, and one green. They speak telepathically, and seem to be analyzing our crew. A flesh mouther grabs a infiltrator and pulls him into a nearby pool of green water, and the infiltrator screams out, and then begins to spit acid from his mouth! The three on the pillar note this. Above, Shy and Jowkaza look for an alternate method of going to the lower levels, to no avail. Upon an altar at the northern point of the oval room, Shy finds two closed doors, inside they contain a red mottled egg, about a meter and some change long. Jowkazza checks out some of the text on the rim, only to be sneakily grabbed by a tentacle. Jowkazza then is thrown into the pit. Enroute he sees two Shys moving into the chamber. Shy manages to lift the egg and toss it into the pit. the two Shys approach her. “Welcome back sister, we have missed you! The master wishes to speak to you.”(!?!) While below: Zehmi throws her hammer at them, the red one stopping the hammer with telekinesis. They note that the hammer contains a kyber crystal and that Zehmi is built for warfare. Zehmi tries to recall her hammer, but it remains locked in the TK grip. Sgt Greene avoids blows from a Flesh Golem 2 type, while preparing a surprise. Jolith attempts to communicate with the three upon the pillar. Another Infiltrator gets pulled into the water, his skin changing colors until disappearing, leading to an agonizing death. Zehmi is attacked by both a gibbering mouther and a flesh golem. The gibbering mouther takes a bite of flesh, as sample for the three above. It is attacked by the Acid spitting Infiltrator, wounding it once. Jowkaza plops down on the floor, catching the tossed egg, quickly getting to his feet. Bren orders the Infiltrator with the concussion rifle to aim at the three on the pillar, knocking them off of it. They fly from their fall to land on separate pillars. Jowkazza fires his projectile rifle at the purple one, who attempts to stop it with an electrical field, but this does not stop a physical projectile. Mortally Wounded, the purple one falls to her(?) knees, calling to the other two. Sgt Greene moves quickly to strap shaped charges upon each of the two attacking Flesh Golems, then detonating them, killing both golems. Infiltrator 5, gripped by a gibbering mouther, shoves a grenade in one of its many mouths, killing it. Above, Shy if approached by the two other Shys, each one entreating her to come with them. Shy Tries to use her swords, loosing one while hitting the other. The uninjured sister drops her sword and uses martial arts to disarm Shy, then her fist begins to glow and that is the last thing Shy sees…. TO BE CONTINUED |

SWR_412 | The Creche part 2 | Stuck below the surface of Doriella, MG Dagger continues to fight the flesh golems and She2 triumvirates. Shy is knocked out. Using some deft commands and maneuvers, the team and infiltrator team green make semi-short work of the baddies. Zehmi and Jolith attempt to jump the gap near the pit/elevator, only to fall short. Jolith on Zehmi’s back, is able to climb to the top, at the cost of Zehmi falling in. Zehmi mutates and gains a Scorpion tail. (WTF!) Jowkazza attempts to kill the green She2, rapidly firing his percussive weapon at it, putting many hole into its chest only to have them heal up. Bren and the infiltrators clean up the golems and concentrate fire power on the Red one, eventually killing it. Jowkazza does another volley of devastating damage to the green one, and running past, grabs some mass and tosses it into a pool. Then the Infiltrators toss more grenades, and it is finally dead-dead. Jumping the gap easily the rest of the team wipes out the remaining golems and pull Zehmi from the pool. Using the floating golem to go to the throne room, the team makes it to Shy and Ruu-Ok. In tubes on either side are Clones of the team. Which open and begin arming themselves with weapons and other things that the PC’s normally use. Fight ensues, Shy making her way to Ruu-Ok, killing him, only to find another Ruu-Ok emerge from the red pool nearby. She continues killing Ruu-Oks until Jolith or Bren realize that he giant skull contains Ruu-Ok’s brain and the rest are merely extensions of his will. Jowkaza opens the egg and finds a young Shy clone. (WTF!) Making quick work of their doubles, along with the other golems and the Dark Trooper ZX clones. The brain is killed by Bren by the ceiling being dropped by a concussion rifle. Jowkaza helps Jolith jump into the skull to retrieve the suicide chip, putting it into Jowkazza. All the golems and creatures die or fall down dramatically. Without Ruu-Ok to command them, they can’t function. For 9 days the team attempts to make their way out of the complex, finally boarding the Red Dagger, heading for home. After Shy puts the ship in hyperspace, she begins to feel bad, collapsing in the cockpit, becoming liquid, just like the other clones!!! MEANWHILE……Shy awakens with a starfish-like thing on her forehead, sitting up she finds she is on a ship and Sanguine is leaning over her, welcoming her back, stating: “Oh the Master can’t wait to see you! Welcome to the Body Shop!!” |

SWR_413 | The Body Shop | Waking up to find herself Arriving at Vassek 3, Shy is introduced to Sanguine and Saiym. They lead her through the body shop, where the Dark Trooper ZX clones are taken and outfitted with cybernetic implants , weapons, and armor. Thus becoming Dark Trooper ZX phase 2!!! Shy is led to a room by a rather proud and happy Sanguine. Shy wastes no time activating her comm’s beacon, after sneaking into the main control room. She encounters some medical cyborgs and the barely register her presence, even after taking one out. Back on the Red Dagger, MG Dagger cleans up the clone mess and Jolith goes through Shy’s things. She has a vision of Shy’s past: “On reaching adulthood, she spent some of her inheritance to buy a small freighter, heading out for the stars. Cargo runs lead to less-than-legal cargo runs, leading to a bounty hunter, Tals Bast , who she fell in love with. He left for a mission, only to be killed by one of the Shadow Seven, Xamos. Swearing revenge, she learned that Tals was secretly infiltrating the Secret Seven. Shy found the trail leading to a secret monastery, on Lotho Minor. Going to Lotho Minor, she climbs the mountain to the monastery. Climbing the mountain, you reach a resting spot and camp, sending a comm to your handler, Lt Ranson, at Republic Intelligence. Strange dreams of Tals dance across your mind, making sleep difficult. The next morning, you proceed on. Reaching a plateau, you sense that it is there, but it doesn’t appear to you. You comm into Ranson again, explaining, but then it appears. Turning your comm off, you proceed in. Hearing voices, you follow them to an inner chamber, finding an ancient humanoid, the Undying Monk. He doesn’t respond to your questions, but others appear and begin to fight you. “If you found this place, you must be ready for your training.” One growls at you. After you try to fight them and they knock you out, you arise before the Undying Monk, again. You can sense, not hear him, subtly guiding you out of his chamber and unto the training court. Where two monks find you and bring you before the pit. “You are not ready for the test. First you must pass through the trials.” TALS BAST not Trang Bast” Through all of this, Jolith determines that Shy is Alive! She sees a wintry castle on a mountain. Additionally, Bren and Jowkazza begin to scan subspace frequencies for Shy’s beacon. Upon receiving the signal, they divert the Red Dagger to Vassek System, Vassek 3. Upon landing, they see a large transport, with clones unloading and finished dark troopers loading. Other light freighters are parked, with some of the crews coming to and from the castle. Many with new cybernetic parts. Bren decides that they will pose as pirates “arr” and enter the castle. Infiltrators to come along, with Geoff manning the ship. The team is greeted by Saiym and led to a conference room. Jolith peels off and checks out the control room, finding Shy. The rest of the team is given a presentation of the services that the Body Shop offers, which towards the end, Saiym and the one cyborg guard then attempt to have our gang surrender, since they are recognized, from arrival. Chaos ensues. Shy and Jolith work on stealing info and shutting down the main computer. Mostly shutting down. Which is mostly destroying. This causes Saiym some problems, since she is connected to it. Zehmi and Jowkazza make semi-quick work of the guards, cyborgs are tough, and Bren hems up Saiym. Jowkazza prepares to fire at Saiym’s skull. Saiym then wishes to parlay and work out a deal: life for information. Bren agrees and takes her prisoner. Shy and Jolith meet up with the infiltrators who were sent to find them, fighting with Sanguine as they head out. Sanguine is rather devastated that Shy doesn’t remember her or that they used to be like sisters. Shy, rather put off, continues to try and eliminate Sanguine. Eventually, after much shooting and exploding, the team makes it out to the Red Dagger and hightail it out of there. Jolith fills in Shy with the info she found and offers to do more readings if Shy wishes. Shy focuses on flying the ship. |

Objectives Find Purple and Maroon Squads, determine Status Obtain any intel you can find about Project Retribution Find out where and how to get to Arc Hammer 2 Capture Zifty. Alive. No Disintegrations! Destroy the Facility or lower its defenses so it can be destroyed. Bren grabs Red Squad - Pathfinders (Vet),Sgt Chawwaa (Wookiee)12 troopers; Blue Squad -Pathfinders (Standard) Sgt Jallo Andak 15 troopers and a troop transport. They land in the street and begin to infiltrate The Arcade, upon entry, A display runs while the outer door seals and electrical arc attacks happen: “Fear not, for you are found. You are home... and there is no going back. No one leaves this place. But what is this place? The answer is The Arcade. It is the collection point for all lost and unloved things. Like you. But here, at the Arcade, you are significant. You are valuable. Here, you are loved, and no one loves you more than Zifty. Zifty along with the Shadow Seven welcome you in the final hours of your life as you help us understand suffering and magnificent death. Where once you were nothing, now you are something. You are the property of Zifty and the Shadow Seven. Congratulations! You will meet your doom in five seconds. Prepare yourself. Prepare yourself.” The team encounters trap doors and rigged door controls. Entering one room, they find black goo, and dead troopers. Fire traps as well. Shy activates a water trap, nearly drowning, only to be swept to a different section. Jowkazza attempts to help out, only to barely hang on, as many troopers fall for the traps. Making it past the initial trials, they continue to proceed. Shy makes her way through the Lava Room, eventually finding a service corridor, and then Zifty! With a missile launcher! Zifty welcomes Shy back and hopes she is enjoying the Arcade as much as last time. MG Dagger catches up with her and they all capture Zifty. Jolith finds that there is a transport about to leave for The Factory, so Bren leaves the remains of his forces behind, while MG Dagger jumps on the transport. Bren, about to leave, asks Zifty why, what is the purpose of the Arcade? Zifty replies “It is a test, a crucible, to find who is worthy of the work, to find the ones who can take on the tasks of our master, the Undying Monk. Empire, Republic, none of that matters. All will burn and All with bow to our master. You will see!” (maniacal laugh, maniacal laugh) |

SWR_415 | The Factory | The Factory Mission Group Dagger hides in the cargo section of a Action IV transport on its way to The Factory. Via a small viewport they see The Factory a floating circular industrial factory complex. The ship lands at a hanger near the bottom. En route The Factory, looking to conceal themselves in some containers, they find an alien from Doriella, the ant-eater/ Meercat things. Except this one can speak some basic and understands some more complex concepts. He is Jinx-o, and upon meeting Bren and Jolith, (Breen-o and Jo-loss) accepts helping the team in exchange to go to other lands (planets). Upon landing, the team, hidden in cargo containers, get carried into the station. Emerging from the containers, they find themselves in a room with two cameras, one disabled, one functional. Jolith sneaks over to disable the other one. The team then finds cargo containers, rhydonium fuel canisters, and 5 clone containers, which keep clones of our team. Jolith and Bren figure out that these clones are a few months old and programmed. Bren has Shy and Zehmi setup concealed explosives among the rhydonium containers. Jolith finds a grate and passages under the floor. The team explores those to find a way to the next level, where they emerge in a factory floor, with droids operating machines and a patrol roaming around. Waiting for the droids to leave, the team comes out of hiding and have Jolith talk to the computer. She finds the turbolifts and the layout of the tower complex. She also finds that there are three computer systems. One for the factory, the admin computer core and the flight computer. Jinx-o distracts the two guard droids, and lead them away. The team then gets on the turbolift to get to the tower. The turbolift opens and they find two guard droids. Quickly dispatching them they proceed down the hall, destroying two more droids. Shy runs ahead and attempts to activate the bridge and open the opposite door, however, her crossing a doorway activates two droidekas who then open fire upon her and Jowkazza. Shy jumps the gap and opens the door. She then is attacked by several Commando Droids. Zehmi rushes in and throws her hammer at one, only to have her hammer bounce back and almost hit her and Jowkazza. Bren comes in next and hits one of the Droidekas with a strong hail of blaster fire. Noticing a gap under the shield, he mentions this to Jolith who has Jowkazza toss her at the droideka. She then uses her Technopathy to have one droid push the other out the door, where the bridge is no more. Shy meanwhile makes short work of the Commandos, but not before one seals and locks the door and bridge. Then four super-battle droids show up and a four armed, laser sword equipped, large, and yellow droid show up and begin attacking. Jowkazza leaps across and attempts to open the door, finding it locked with a code. Bren runs to the side chamber and finds the master switch to open the door and extend the bridge. Zehmi and Jowkazza rush in and dispatch some more droids, including a new Ninja type wearing a stylish jacket. Zehmi and Jowkaza are given pause, but Bren shoots it down easily. Meanwhile the Yellow Sword droid eventually wears Shy down and mortally wounds her. She goes down. Jolith quickly patches her up to incapacitated. Jolith takes over the droids and finds that she can talk to the droid control computer, shutting them all down, except the independent droids. Jowkazza heals Shy to Wounded Twice condition. Moving the the main office, Jolith encounters two droidekas and two ninja droids. She evades the droideka blaster fire, while bumping into a rhydonium container. She again Technopaths one of the droidekas to attack the other, creating a crisis with sparks near the rhydonium. Zehmi and Jowkaza make short work of the Ninja Droids, with Zehmi entering the office and glaring at Kriff. Bren enters the office and stuns Kriff, and then shuts down the rest of the droids from the command desk. Combat over, they secure the Factory complex and prepare to move it to a different location. The plan is to retool it for Rebellion use. Backup arrives and helps to move it. Exploring the files, they find that the factory sends weapons and other tech stuff to the Tyrant. They also have the location of the Arc Hammer 2, in the Hassaria system. Project Retribution has two sides: Dark Trooper ZX and Starburst Bomb Resonance Torpedoes. These two projects are sent to something called The Tyrant. The Tyrant’s location is held aboard the Arc Hammer 2. The clones were an exploration of our team’s worthiness to join the Shadow Seven and be part of their plans. (!!!) There is a Class Four Cargo Transport due to arrive in two days. It will pickup cargo to bring to Arc Hammer 2. |

Later, aboard the Geist, MG Dagger work with Colonel Ranson on infiltrating the Arc Hammer 2. Mission objectives: Find the location of the Tyrant Destroy the Arc Hammer 2 Find a weakness to the Dark Trooper ZX Get schematics on Resonance Torpedoes So the gang outfits themselves with gear: Each person: 2 ion 2 thermal Jowkaza 4 Cobalt limpet mines 2 sensor thingys Shadowcloak Silencer for his percussive weapon Zehmi Sensor Scrambler Shy Steal Suit Bren Imperial Capt Suit code cylinder from the factory 8 z95 (Rust 1-8) 4 awing (Dust 5-8) Moving the Factory back to its old position, they allow the Class four transport to dock. Bren then surprises the crew with all of his forces and takes the over the transport. The Rebel Navy donates a crew, while Bren fills out security from his forces. Meanwhile, he pulls 8 z-95s from Rust squadron and 4 A-wings from Dust squadron and conceals them in some cargo containers, to deploy later. After the transport leaves, the Factory is moved to a different location. All outfitted, MG Dagger take off in the transport with their strike force. A day later they emerge from hyperspace at the barycenter of the Hassaria system, which consists of Four stars orbiting each other. Slowly approaching the center, they find the Arc Hammer 2, a floating fortress/factory. The transport passes through the security checks, and docks. An inspection team meets the airlock, and Bren, posing as a rugged faced Imperial Captain, escorts the two troopers and past face lt into the transport, where Shy, Zehmi, and Jokazza wait to ambush. After, some….attacks, the LT and two troopers go down. Jolith assisted with the last trooper. Bren heads out and finds a large hanger area, with two stormtroopers guarding one of the doors. Using Geoff to plug into the computer and create a distraction. Bren keeps the guards distracted while the rest of the team sneaks up and can take them out. Proceeding along, the team continues to make way and eliminate troopers, until they find the turbolifts. Bren waits patiently as 3 lts and a capt wait on the turbolift. Meanwhile, Jolith finds a mouse droid and makes friends with it. Bren, after seeing the turbolift area is clear, brings Geoff over to interface with the computers and get a map of the Arc Hammer 2. With great success, the team makes a plan to go to level 16-D to sabotage the power core and hyperdrive. The plans for the Tyrant, Dark Trooper ZX2, and the Resonance Torpedoes are on Level 2 in a secure server room. Bren opens the turbolift and the team boards it…. TO BE CONTINUED |

SWR_417 | Arc Hammer 2 pt2 | Entering level 16 D of the Arc Hammer 2, the team finds Large tanks of Hyper-fuel, very combustable. Zehmi and Jowkazza plant an explosive on one of the tanks. Wired to a detonator that Zehmi carries. Next, they find the Hyperdrive Control room, loud and full of machinery, they go to knock out the techs in there. However, the techs seem a little more combat savvy. One of them gets away and lures Shy after them. The tech then alerts command of the trouble, Dark Trooper ZX2’s attack Shy. Zehmi follows her, but Jowkazza is cut off from them. Shy tosses a ION grenade, but one of the troopers bats it away over by Zehmi, disabling her Hammer, and other devices. Zehmi opens the disabled door, bending it open. Soon the other Dark Trooper attacks Shy, incapacitating her. Jowkazza goes to a bracing position, while Bren attempts to brace for impending Dark Troopers from the south entrance. meanwhile, he has Geoff and eventually Jolith on the computers. Geoff gets past three security gates, but misses the third. The Dark Troopers emerge from the south entrance, Bren and Jowkazza attempting to knock them out with ION Blasters or grenades. Not so effectively, the Troopers resist attempts to disable them with ION blasters or grenades, instead, stunning Bren. Jowkaza grabs Bren and Geoff, to a middle section of the chamber. He then tosses a thermal detonator at them, destroying four and not injuring two. Bren and Geoff are also damaged to incapacitated. Meanwhile, Jolith finds who sealed the doors in this section, and taps their comm freq, she converses with Major Zar Rath, older brother to Lt. Gearon Rath. He reveals that his brother is pursuing them. According to the intel gathered so far, Bren has an honor system, so if he lays down his arms, they will be tried by the imperial legal code. Jolith indicates that is a no. Major Rath also indicates that the explosives were taken off the Hyper-Fuel tanks. There is no escape, surrender now. Jolith, ever resourceful, orders the navicomputer to erase it’s route data. It complies, so the Arc Hammer 2 is now unable to leave anywhere (repair roll difficulty 40!) Along with the damage that Jowkaza did to it with his thermal detonator. Zehmi rescues Shy from a Dark Trooper who is moving her to another room to the north. Using a medpac, she brings her back to wounded 2 status. Jowkaza brings Geoff and Bren to the hallway where Zehmi and Shy are at. Using a medpac on Bren, he is now Wounded 2 status. Zehmi opens the west door and find a cadre of stormtroopers and a Lt holding the disabled explosives. “Surrender now, rebel scum!” Shy tosses a unactivated Thermal Detonator in the middle of the troopers, causing them to scatter. Zehmi recloses the door and head to the north door, with the others. The find a room with several cargo boxes. Shy finds a grate and opens it with a grenade. She jumps in, yelling to the other to follow. One by one, they jump into the shaft, leading to who knows what…. |

SWR_418 | Arc Hammer 2 pt3 | Down the shaft they fall, eventually landing in, you guessed it, a trash compactor! Quickly looking around, they begin to search the garbage, with Shy finding a leather covered locked case, rather new looking. Has a biometric lock. (can’t remember if she takes it with her?) Jolith and Zehmi try to open the door. Zehmi hurls her hammer at the door, but it’s magnetically shielded, so her hammer bounces her back against the far wall. Jolith uses acrobatics to evade being squished. Jokazza attempts to stop the compactor but the brace fails. So he continues to keep Bren and Geoff at the top of the heap. Shy uses blaster repair to retune the freq of the blaster beam to counter the magnetic field. This allows Jolith to touch the door and convince it to restart its cycle and open the door. Emerging in a short corridor, Bren awakens and tries to repair Geoff, to no avail. Proceeding to the Blast door, Jolith attempts to entice the door open, only to have the secondary blastdoor come down. Undeterred, she compels both doors to open. Entering a vestibule, she opens yet another blastdoor, leading to a long corridor, ending with one more blastdoor. Beyond this door lies a few corridors and several doors. Along one corridor, Bren semirandomly opens one and it just happens to be the Droid Repair bay….He holds the Droid Techno at blaster point and have him fix Geoff. Meanwhile, Shy and Jowkazza explore some of the cooridors, with Jowkazza finding a cargo bay. Zehmi finds the turbolift and guard it. Jolith finds a repair bay, sharing a glance with a techno in there, before closing the door again. After Geoff is repaired, the team uses the turbolift to make it to level 2, secure data storage. Shy goes ahead and cuts down the two technos here, allowing Jolith and Geoff to jump on the computers. Making short work, Jolith finds the two data tapes for The Tyrant and the Resonance Torpedoes. Geoff finds an escape craft that the Admiral in charge of Arc Hammer 2 uses. Jolith gets chatty with the Archive Computer, finding out that the Tyrant is manned soley by Shadow Seven forces, not imperial. She also finds out that the Tyrant is to have a test firing in the Ryoone system, killing 60 million sentients of 6 species! At that moment, Major Zar Rath emerges from a turbolift, along with four Death Troopers. He also has 2 Dark Troopers come in from the north entrance. Jokazza takes on the Death Troopers and Zhemi the Dark Troopers while Shy and Bren use the waldo arms to retrieve the needed Datatapes. Jolith trades barbs back and forth with Major Rath. At some point, Jolith reveals to Major Rath that the Shadow Seven are going to use the Tyrant against the Empire. That they can’t be trusted. Rath doesn’t believe her until she presents the readout on the console. He is rather shocked to see this. Jowkazza then interrupts by killing off the Death Troopers, Rath and the remaining Death Troopers retreat out of there. After some fighting, Zehmi takes out the Dark Troopers, while Jowkazza handles the Death Troopers. At that point, Bren and Shy have the tapes, Geoff has the path to the ship, and everyone heads out. Arriving at the ship there is a pitched battle being raged against the Arc Hammer 2, as our team rejoins the remnants of Dust and Rust squadrons, who were hidden along the Arc Hammer 2’s hull, after the transport escaped. The Rebel Fleet has arrived and attacked the Arc Hammer 2. Our gang then quickly fights through and jumps away. |

Jolith is in her quarters reviewing a msg left by Rockakola the Hutt. “Little one, I have accepted a proposal to communicate for another party on their behalf to relay information about something called the Tyrant. They request to meet with you on Koda station, far end of the Wazta sector. At the cantina called “the Oilpan” Please let me know if you accept. Time-space coordinates to follow. Your friend in stories, Rockakola” After signifying acceptance, Jolith heads out to the Medbay, looking for a pilot. Shy experiences a rather pleasant dream, only to be awakened by Jolith pounding on her Bacta tank. Shy pretends that the comm system is not working. Deterred, Jolith heads to the next nook and finds Jowkazza getting bandages removed. She proceeds to convince him to go to Koda Station. Zehmi showing up, agrees. Shy, emerging from the Bacta tank, dripping, also agrees. Jowkaza leaves a short non detailed note with coordinates in Bren’s mail, while Bren is in Meeting Heck. The Red Dagger races to Kona Station, arriving to a long neglected spaceport, showing signs of disuse. Making way to the Oilpan, the find an even seedier bar. Shy and Jolith sit down with a mysterious cloaked stranger, while Zhemi and Jowkaza hang back and watch out. They notice a couple of patrons with red sashes. The two leave and bumb into Jowkaza, accidentally. Mumbling “oops sorry. FU walking carpet.” Jowkaza, suspicious, checks to see if anything is missing. He finds nothing missing, but does find a tracker placed on his fur. The stranger pulls back their hood, revealing Major Zar Rath of the ISB, special weapons division. “I looked into the information Jolith found, and brought it to the attention of my superiors and their superiors, and was stonewalled.” “Which brings us to now. My enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Shy and Jolith noncommittally respond, so Zar looking at Shy, carefully pulls out of his cloak, an Admiral’s Medallion pass and a subspace beacon. He passes these to Shy and says, “This Admiral’s Medallion will help you board with no questions asked. The subspace beacon is to call me in if you run into difficulty taking out the station. I have several ships, loyal to me, standing by.” Shy takes the items and leaves with Jolith. Passing by Zhemi and Jowkaza, they head out. Zhemi Follows along with Jowkaza, who drops the tracker. Meanwhile, Bren discovers the message left and takes a shuttle out to Koda Station. Jolith, Shy, Jowkaza, and Zehmi leave the cantina and find 8 red sashed mixed species waiting for them. “Oy! You are the scum that stole Redblade the younger’s ship, the Red Dagger! You probably killed him too! Arrr! Redblade the elder is affter you too! Arr Redblade the eldest wants you too too.” They begin to attack, with Shy killing one outright. Zehmi engages along with Jowkazza. Bren, landing at Koda Station, walks in as this is happening. They end up taking all the Redblade Pirates out. Bren then give them a talking to while getting back to the Red Dagger. Back at the Geist, the team is in a briefing with General Syndulla and Colonel Ranson. They are greeted by Trang Bast and 4 Dark Troopers. Bren, posing as an Imperial officer, presents their prisoner: Jolith, to be given as a gift to the shadow seven. Bast buys the story and takes them to the throne room where they find Kannon, Sanguine, and the Undying Master! They take Jolith to the detention facility, 2 Dark troopers along with Jowkazza and Sgt Grene escorting. Bren asks to get a tour of the station, so Trang Bast is sent with Bren, Zehmi, and Shy. Jowkazza and Sgt Grene make short work of their guards, while Jolith talks to the turbolift. She finds out that there is a shrine or something where scrolls are kept. So she deviates for that. Entering Torpedo Control, Shy and Zhemi make their attack on the Dark Troopers, then going for Trang Bast. After some fighting, Shy takes off his head, revealing his face, which triggers a memory or something else does. “Shy was a child of privilege, growing up on Zeltros. Raised mostly by the house servitor droids, she was a bit of a party girl. She showed incredible dexterity and piloting ability. Often she would steal one of the family speeders and cruise around. Later she started stealing shuttles and starships. On reaching adulthood, she spent some of her inheritance to buy a small freighter, heading out for the stars. Finding the Undead Monk, and his group of students, including Xamos, Kannon, Ruu-Ok, Razor, Sanguine, Zifty, and Krif. Shy infiltrated the group, joining them as a student. There under the Monk's wordless tutelage, Shy’s mastery of the mysterious martial art, Way of Uko, was completed. Shy succeeded in killing Xamos, but then took Xamos’ place among the Shadow Seven. The Seven, now complete, went to create Weaponeer Corp, to further the aims of the Undying Monk, and the Way of Uko.” This reveals the Seventh Shadow, Shy is she. Or at least, a version used to be. After getting over that shock, Shy and Zhemi proceed to strip the poor, dead, and headless Trang Bast of his armor and weaponry. Bren meanwhile begins launching the torpedoes at a poor minor moon of Ryoone system’s gas giant, Nyoone. Defanged, the Tyrant is no longer a threat. Bren and team head for the Power Core… Meanwhile, emerging from the turbolift into a stone for stone recreation of the temple the first emerged from when leaving Barso. Except for two Dark Troopers which Jowkazza handles with help from Sgt Grene. Traveling to the center of the temple, Jolith finds Scrolls, and a case with texts and data tapes. Dealing with the Way of Uko…. At the Power Core, Bren, Zhemi, and Shy make short work of the Dark Troopers there, quickly planting explosives around the core, linked to a detonator that Bren carries. Jolith, Jokazza, and Sgt Grene join up with them there. The collected team head for shield control, only to have the Turbolift mysteriously deliver them to the Throne Room, where Kannon, Sanguine, and the Undying Monk await them. Shy goes after Kannon, while Zhemi throws her hammer, only to have it fly around the corner to Mal, who exerts some kind of control on it, throwing it at Zhemi, sending her across the room. Bren, Jowkazza, and Sgt Grene lay down covering fire, taking out some Dark Troopers. To Be Continued….. |

Jowkazza attempts to fire upon the Undying Monk who sits upon his stone Dias. His attacks are repelled. Mal and Zehmi fight over the Hammer, with Mal demonstrating its ability to fire blasts from it! Zehmi digs deep into her lore about the hammer, realizing that she can tap into its abilities too. The Tyrant suddenly jumps into hyperspace, arriving minutes later in open space. Shy attacks Kannon, who uses his Way of Uko abilities to parry or stop her. Jolith tries sneaking up to the dias, while Bren falls back to a control station. Dash Lergo sneaks up on Bren, requesting the detonator control, he is under orders from Col Ranson to take the Tyrant for the rebellion. (He is responsible for diverting the turbolift to the throne room.) Bren and Dash go back and forth, with Bren persuading Dash to let them blow the place up. While that is going on, Sanguine is blasted at by Jowkaza. Shy moves past Kannon, then heads up for the Undying master, Elah! He is killed by her, and she hears in her head “Thank you”. Kannon and Sanguine loses their stuff, but are quickly dispatched by Jowkazza and Shy. The battle for the hammer continues, as Zehmi gains possession for a moment to “speak” to the hammer. When she throws it at Mal, it stops midway, as Mal and Zehmi evenly push and pull at it. Jolith, right below the hammer, touches it and tips the balance to Zehmi, who then sends it to Mal, killing him rather spectacularly. Before he dies, he states that he will be avenged. Also, trouble with Zehmi’s dad. The Secret Seven, plus Mal, are all dead, MG Dagger, start heading for the exit. Escaping the Tyrant, Bren hits the detonator, it explodes into particles. Returning to the fleet, aboard the Geist, Bren reveals he is leaving the team to go into deep cover infiltration. (I assume both Bren and Dash report on Col Ranson…?) Shy, a few days later, receives a communique from the Weaponeer Corp, she is now the CEO and sole owner of it! Zehmi receives a comm from her mother, requesting her return, to help her father. Jolith begins reading the Way of Uko scrolls and datapads. Jowkaza is requested to come to the Clatuvicc Guild’s meeting on Kashyyyk, currently occupied by the Empire. Meanwhile, on Coruscant, in the Imperial Palace, the Emperor sits on his throne, near the smoking corpse of Major Rath. “A very thorough report, Major. We appreciate your diligence and agreeing to come and deliver it.”(cackle) “Emissary Malus, step forward.”(What? we killed him!) “Yes milord, how may I serve?” “You are familiar with Bren Skarlo and his band of rebels?” “Yes, my master.” “Go to the Wazta Sector, take command of the Arc Hammer 2, find this group of rebels and destroy them.” “It will be done, milord.” |

The 9 imperial aligned houses caught wind of Sayl being given shelter by House Lh’Sratt, and called it the actions of a af’harl. After some parlimentary debate by different sides, including lead Pro Rebellion and Pro Empire pundits, Zal Tuag Th'Trar and Zal Afreg Kt'Aya, Zor formally annonces Zhemi as his champion and her teammates as her team. Mol is told to form his team and be ready by the zenith of Coyn's star. The gang decide to go back to their ship to sleep, since it's more defensable. "aking her. But he drops off Sgt. Jaan Kadaara as their new procurement/infiltration person. They then leave for Coyn. Upon arrival, they are met by Zhemi's mother and fourth brother, Zyl. SWR_502 | The Arena | "After an uneventful night, our crew wakes up aboard the Red Dagger, in the Lh’Sratt family dock. As they get ready, have some caf, they spot a shadow moving across a doorway…Monks of UKO! Immediately the team flies into action, making short work of the intruders. Shy finds out that they are after the Scrolls of Uko, which Jolith has. Shy misdirects them to <planet name here>. It is also revealed that she is now in charge of them as the last remaining of the Shadow Seven. She then orders them to stay out of sight and await further instructions. They then meld with the shadows and disappear. Sayl meanwhile check the ship out to see if any trackers or such were attached or anything in the computer. She finds some Adware and other bugs, quickly fixing them. Then she finds 4 files, one unencrypted by Bren’s R2 unit Geoff earlier in the year. The other 3 resist her efforts. Jowkazza and Zehmi also check the ship. Along with knocking low the security force protecting the dock. As they finish prep for the fight, they proceed down a street to the speeders. Jowkazza notices a familiar scent, and using his keen senses, tracks it to an alley, where he finds a Guild marking and a dead drop dataport embedded in the wall. Hooking his Guild datapad up, he downloads a false ID and Credentials to get to Tree Vikkilynn, in the settlement of Kachirho, Kashyyyk. It will require tinkering with the Variable ID transponder. Might need an engineer. Nearly the same time, Sayl is accosted by a homeless old woman who says “Oh, Rei, dearie! Is that you? Or are you Eldress or Trianna? Marka? About time you got here.” Handing her a circular trinket, which is flipped open and contains a blue crystal in the center, glowing faintly. “You forgot this, now take it, take it! There you go! Remember it next time!” Sayl, askance, begins to question what the hey. While the Coynite guards are waived off by Zehmi. Shy starts to step in, prompting the old woman to gaze around her and say, “OH Jaan, Reid waits for you! Did you talk to Dras Antig?” “Jowkazza, wookiee hugs are the best.”and finally, “Shy’n’arra? Which one are your?” Then she runs down yet another alleyway, not pursued by the group, surprisingly…“She is brave, my Rei. You will be too.” Rest of the way to the Arena is uneventful. Except for the crowds gathered and spectacle that awaits them. It seems all of Coyn is here to see the outcome of the fight. King Im’Toral XV, Queen Em’Tora VII arrive, recognizing our team as they enter. Opposite side from them, enters Mag Zuuk Th’aya, the son of Mol Alna Meech Farsa Th'aya, with his team: Phao Bast, Ninth Brother, two cyberdogs, Tug’mya, and Sagu, both of house Th’aya. Shy takes a bag that contains Trang Bast’s armor, leaving the Helm on top. Up in the stands with the King and Queen are: Zehmi’s dad, Zor, seated next to Mol Alna Meech Farsa Th'aya, with Malus and Rath forward of them. Malus nodding at Zhemi and Sayl. You can feel the smile through his mask. King and Queen are seated ahead of them. The King stands and speaks: “Due to the charges of collusion with an enemy of the Empire, and thereby the people of Coyn, Zor Mala Lh’Sratt has chosen the right of Arin'nn Haelar, Trial by Combat, a duel of honor. As is his right, he has chosen a Champion, Zehmi Aya Lh’Sratt, with Jowkazza of Kashyyyk, Sayl of Varnat, Shy’n’arra Le’Vees, and Jaan Kadaara as her seconds. ” “These charges were brought up by Mol Alna Meech Farsa Th'aya who has chosen his son, Mag Zuuk Th’aya as his champion, with Tug’mya, Sagu, both of house Th’aya, Ninth brother, of the Empire’s Inquisitorius, and Phao Bast of Mandalore.” “This fight is very much at the core of our culture and the will of our people. En’Tra’Sol has kept the peace for many thousands of years. Now we have a fight worthy of its history. May the best warrior win! Activate the Biomes, and Begin the fight!” At his direction, the floor and things shift and the Biomes are activated. One section becomes Forest with trees, another Ice fields, then Geyser Fields, The fourth biome is a Swamp. Roll Initiative!!! Phao Bast zips into the air, tossing grenades and other area effect attacks. Ninth Brother uses the force to leap across most of the obstacles. Mag shouts in a whiny voice: Cyberdogs run very quickly up the middle and begin attacking Zehmi, Jaan, and Sayl. Shy takes on Ninth brother and Phao bast. Jowkaza heads for the middle to take on the three(!) Coynite warriors. Felling Sagu easily and wounding twice, Mag. One cyberdog is felled, while the other is ‘flipped’ to training mode by Jaan. Sayl, attempts to deactivate the Ninth Brother’s light saber, and is successful. Only to have him reactivate it. He then uses Drain on Sayl, sucking her life out, to subdue her. Shy and Jaan attack to no avail and are forcibly tossed. Sayl attempted to use Trang Bast’s armor and successfully activates the flame thrower. Phao jumps into the air, headed for where Shy skittered across the ice. Holding an action. Shy uses One in a Million Shot, to knock down Phao and with her held action, Phao hits Shy, the both go down. A draw. Tug, Ninth Brother, and a wounded twice Mag remain. TO BE CONTINUED!" |
8 hrs | 37:11:27 |
SWR_503 | The Leaving | Shy is down, Zehmi attacks 9th brother with a One in a Million Shot with her thrown hammer to his chest, killing him. This brings Malus out of his trance and he begins to rise. Malus stands at the front and declares “This farce is over. The Empire will now remand these rebels to our custody.” King Im’Toral whirls on Malus and says “This is a violation of all our laws, Entra’Sol itself! How dare you!” Malus replies “Now fair King Im’Toral the 15th. Do not threaten an Emissary of the Empire, if you value your life.” The Sathanas, Malus' ship appears over the stadium, blocking the sun, casting a meaningful shadow overhead. Stormtroopers come in the two arena entrances blocking our heroes from exiting. The people begin standing, angry over the turn of events. Sayl, continuing to hear Arinya or Rozz in her head, sees the dark energy dissipate from the 9th brother and the light energy drawn from her and the team, cease going to Malus. Sayl then figures out the connections of energy to her, and begins healing herself. She gets a nudge from the mysterious voice to get out of there. Jowkaza makes short work of what remains of House Th’aya’s redshirts and fires his slug thrower at Malus, who stops the shell mid-air and returns it to him, luckily missing him. Jaan aids Jowkazza with taking out the remainder of Th'aya’s redshirts. Jaan then moves to shoot Malus, SUCCESSFULLY hitting him in the shoulder(!). It escalates from there Zor, Zehmi’s father, brings up his sword along with Several Guards. “My King, stand back.” Noticeably, Mol Alna Meech Farsa Th'aya, Zor’s rival, does not prepare himself. In fact, he seems pleased. Malus begins to Drain the King. Jowkazza hits him hard and he goes down. Then a Force Storm begins to appear, centered on Jowkazza. The King falls as well. Not looking good. Jaan begins to pick off stormtroopers, while Zehmi runs to Shy, picking her up. Phao Bast begins to get up, seeing Zehmi, the two have a stand off until Phao states, she just wants the armor, at this point. Zehmi lets her go. Carrying Shy out, Jowkazza, Sayl, and Jaan make short work of the stormtroopers. Sayl makes it to one of the two Imperial Troop Transports, failing to intimidate the two pilots off the transports, however, Jaan or Zehmi or Jowkazza come in and finish the job. Taking the transport, the crew head for the starport, while the Force Storm chases them along with the other transport. The Storm is devastating parts of the city, so Shy, now healed up enough to drive, takes the transport into the storm! The other transport is destroyed and our gang are now in the starport, somehow alive! (wonder why…) Arriving at the Red Dagger, Shy powers up the ship quickly. Jaan and Jowkazza man the turrets, Zehmi in the cockpit, manning the missiles. Sayl happily returns to the engine room. As the Red Dagger rises, another ship appears, DeathStrike-7 (Renamed from DEATHSTROKE-7, dammit, gorram players!), the vessel of Phao Bast, who begins firing upon the Red Dagger with missiles of her own! Several systems are disabled or damaged, but Shy points the ship at Satahanas’ front hanger bay. Zehmi fires missiles into this bay and the Red Dagger points skyward. Jowkazza enters quick coordinates in, and Shy jumps into hyperspace at the edge of the atmosphere. |

SWR_504 | Arrival | After the jump to hyperspace, the crew takes turns in the bacta tanks, healing up from the battle(s). Shy begins reading the scrolls (digital copy). Jokazza checks for updates to the Guild’s hyperpaths. Jaan cleans and checks his weapons. Zhemi calls Coyn and gets through the royal communications office, speaks with the attendant there. Her father was alive as of a few days ago. Civil war has erupted on Coyn. The rebellion-backing faction, that Zor belongs to is backing the dead king Toral’s faction, while Mol Alna Meech Farsa Th’aya leads the imperial faction, and call themselves the legitimate government. Government facilities are still under Toral faction’s control, but it is fading as Imperial attacks worsen. Zehmi pledges to bring the rebel forces there to help out. Which leads to Shy calling home base on the Geist, and General Syndulla, MG Dagger’s current leader, since Col Ransom’s incarceration. Syndulla will want the team to do a tactical recon after the Kashyyyk mission. Kashyyyk is still a priority, because of the hypercourses that the Guild has and still protects. If the Empire gets them, game over for a lot of people. After the mission, they are to contact base again and sync up. Meanwhile, Sayl uses one of the holds on the ship to check out the lightsaber and the compass. She figures out the saber’s kyber crystal is corrupted, producing the red color. She also figures out that the compass works on intent. Sayl then begins working on repairing the ship, she fixes the targeting computer on the lower turret, but finds that she needs a focusing crystal on the upper turret. She does theorize she could put a kyber crystal in there, increasing the weapons damage, but the crystal would have to be bigger than the lightsaber’s. After 4 days, the ship leaves hyperspace, entering the Kashyyyk system. Three Star Destroyers are there along with a planetary shield gate. Shy transmits the clearance code and the Red Dagger enters the gate, landing at the Kachiro space port. An Imperial Lt along with six Stormtroopers approaches the ship’s ramp. The lt charges them for docking fees, and 50cr for inspection. Any wookiees onboard must be collared and have a meeting for an inhibitor chip installation. Shy goes onboard to the hiding Jowkaza and brings him before the imperials. They force Jowkazza to kneel before them and have the collar put on. The controller is given to Shy, who later gives it to Jowkazza. The imperials then board the ship and proceed to scan it thoroughly. They then leave and the crew head out for what’s next. Walking through Kachiro, they see deforestation, factories belching out black smog, children in collars, being sold, shocked, mutilated. Entire families split and dispersed. Trandoshan hunters walking with wookiee pelts, eyeing Jowkazza. Offering credits to Zehmi for her slave. Jowkazza starts to loose it, but Shy is able to persuade him to bide his time. Finding the Claatuvac Guild headquarters, the doors are slightly ajar and the entire place seems blasted and burnt. Many of the elegant and beautiful things are destroyed here. Entering the dark room, closing the doors, the gang are then put in spotlights, six Stormtroopers and Lt Geron Rath corner them. “You are all under arrest for the death of Major Zar Rath, stand down and drop your arms!” Yeah, well, that doesn’t work, leading to Shy and Jowkazza to lead the way in the fray. Shy guts Lt Rath, taking his rank cylinders and finishing him off. Not before he summons reinforcements in the form of an AT-AT walker n such. Jowkazza lets loose, killing stormtroopers with his bare hands. Sayl notices the reinforcements coming outside and asks for an alternate exit, Jowkazza points to a wall. Sayl finds the exit and proceeds down. Zehmi hits two troopers with one blow and runs for the exit, the rest following. Down they go till reaching a door on the lower level. Jowkazza notices a scent trail that the guild left, and follows it, only to loose it, becoming lost. Sayl pulls out the compass and uses it to find the trail again. They find a root and behind the root, a small door. Jowkazza opens it and finds a wookiee with a bowcaster. After identifying each other, Arrworr welcomes them. He is an apprentice navigator who was waiting for them. He is to direct and guide them to the Origin Tree. TO BE CONTINUED. |
4 days | 37:12:01 |
SWR_505 | Heart of the Shadowlands | In the small hovel, Arrworr explains that he is to lead the team to the Origin Tree, the most sacred of trees, where all life on Kashyyyk sprang from. He has made the journey a few times and has it memorized. Jowkazza must take the Prime HoloGrid unit off of Kashyyyk to the Rebellion or somewhere else safe. If they can’t, it must be destroyed, not to fall into imperial hands. He has a bunch of gear for camping and climbing, with provisions and a repulsorskiff as well. The plan is to go into the Shadowlands, a lower level forest, deep into it, and then climb the Origin Tree. Soon after they leave the secret location, Imperial forces find them and give chase! A fallen tree stops them as an AT-AT and AT-ST maneuver to get them. Shy attempts to climb the AT-ST, while Zehmi, Jaan, and Jowkazza climb the AT-AT. The AT-AT is about to fire upon the skiff, but a well placed thermal detonator throws it off balance, buying the team time. The AT-ST fires on the skiff, destroying it and tossing the team around. Then Imperial Troop Transports arrive, unloading stormtroopers. As Shy climbs the AT-ST, Sayl ignites the lightsaber of the Ninth Brother, using it to take out the ankle of the AT-ST, causing it to crash into one of the Transports.(Bruckheimer explosion!) Shy isn’t happy about this as she rides the AT-ST down and jumps into the remaining troops nearby. She also slaps Sayl around here. (I think?) On the AT-AT, Jowkazza uses various means to try and damage the AT-AT Walker’s head/cockpit. Jaan and Zehmi climb the walker and open the side door to the troop compartment. 40 troopers begin to open fire on them. Zehmi makes short work of some of them, while Jaan grabs a docked speeder and uses its cannon to mow down some more. Shy takes on the remaining troopers near the fallen AT-ST, killing them all and appropriating a T-21 Light Repeating Blaster from one particular trooper. Sayl and Arrworr take out troops around the other transport, stealing it. Jowkazza pulls out all his Ion Grenades, times them to go off while he fires his Ion blaster, all of this results in disabling the AT-ATs weapons and Nav systems. Zehmi finishes off some more of the Troops, while Jaan releases the speeder bike and Zehmi jumps on. Various explosions from the troop compartment as Jowkazza’s last frag grenade goes off. (Bruckheimer explosion!)Jaan and Zehmi crash in the former fountain/pool, taking out the rest of the troopers there, while Shy also helps with that. The trio joins Arrworr and Sayl on the transport. Fleeing the city and heading deeper into the forest, the team proceeds until the vines get too deep, also a TIE Reaper bombs them, causing the transport to crash. The team begin to escape, with Arrowozz almost becoming crispy. The team helps him out, but a few more become stuck, but then are able to get out before the transport explodes. (Bruckheimer explosion!) Hiking further into the Shadowlands, the team sets up camp after nightfall. Jowkazza notices some of the flora and fauna getting closer. He is about to take them on, when suddenly, someone shoots the Webweaver / Wyyyschokk, killing it dead. Trandoshan Hunters! They’ve come for the Wookiees’ pelts and to capture the rest. Imperials have a warrant for our team’s arrest, dead or alive! Fighting enuses: Zehmi is downed by a backstabbing, sword armed one, who Shy then takes on next. The Cape wearing one stuns Jaan and Arroworr, while Sayl attempts to take on one of the pods, using it to take out a couple more. Sayl sends one into a living vine, which begins its feast….yuck. Much of the team is down, when Cape-Wearer points his rifle at Arrworr’s unconscious body. He tells Shy to surrender, lay down her arms. She sheaths her sword, but refuses to kneel. He kills Arroworr. Jowkazza almost flies into a rage, but he cooly takes this guy and others out. Shy (I think) takes out the other pod or the controlled pod takes out the pod. (fuzzy on that. ) Jaan, making a stamina check, wakes enough to make a shot at one of the Trando’s that was attacking Shy or Sayl (?) Anyhow, the team survives and takes out the rest of the hunting party. Arrworr verbally tells the rough course to the Origin Tree, before expiring. At the end, an enraged Jowkazza confronts Shy about surrendering, to which Shy states that the Trandoshan wasn’t going to spare Arrworr either way. They use medpacs and fix each other up. The surviving pod is loaded up. Before they leave, Jowkazza buries Arrworr, taking his gear. The rest of the party loots the hunters and takes the pod, ever deeper into the forest…. |

SWR_506 | Further Into Darkness | Sorting out the Hunting Pod, Shy drives further into the woods. Sayl uses the compass to “Help the Wookiees” Which leads them to a Imperial Factory, which is cutting into the root systems of the trees to harvest the sap. The sap is used to distill a volatile chemical compound. This was done in an environmentally destructive way. It was estimated that for every barrel of sap that was refined, more than 200 metric tons of industrial waste were dumped into watercourses near the facility. Shy and the gang determine that they should move on, further up the river and proceed with the mission. Following the shore line of the river, they find a small bay and signs of activity. Parking the pod, they scout ahead and find a village of sorts. Wookiees and Imperials, glassy eyed and not quite sane looking. Strung up in the trees, are two troopers and one wookiee. When Shy decides to get out of there, they discover they are surrounded. The team is brought into the camp and put to waiting for the Colonel. Meanwhile, a wookiee (Hopper) befriends Jowkazza and starts to describe in non sensical terms what is going on here. It becomes readily apparent that they are all crazy here. Shy and the others demand to see the Colonel. Escorted to a hovel built into a tree root, they allow Shy to pass and leave the others on the porch. Entering the pitch black room, Shy begins talking with Colonel Zurk. Shy, not one for Psychotic banter, angers the Colonel and he activates the trapdoor in the floor, and Shy lands in a cage. Hopper begins to talk to her, to “Enhance her Calm, mannnn.” The team, sensing something amiss, begin to try and break in. Zehmi attempts to knock down the doors, to no avail, which then sends her hammer at the crowd, who dog pile it, preventing it’s return to her hand. Jowkazza takes a chunk out of the door, but then realizes it isn’t locked. Opening the door, he heads in, using his blaster to light up the space, occasionally. Finding an empty room, with Ashtrays built out of wookiee hands, Sayl comes in with a flashlight, finding a droid sitting in the Colonel’s chair. Through her interrogation, she finds that the droid is the “Colonel’s Voice” and when she turns it off, a timed detonation is started. Jaan and Jowkazza furiously tear through the house, while Sayl leaves it to a safe distance. Zehmi is swallowed by the crowd, until she gets to the bottom of the pile and grabs the hammer’s handle. Using her Scholarly knowledge of the hammer, she activates a omnidirectional blast that throws everyone off of her. Sayl realizes that the hammer has a Kyber crystal in it. A large one! Jaan and Jowkazza find Shy’s cage and Hopper. Shy is in a foul mood after failing to kill Hopper with her blaster. Jaan uses his lockpicking skills to open the cage, getting a thank you from Shy, who really wants to kill someone. Seeing that they are outnumbered, they run for the bay and swim in its polluted waters to where their pod is. They proceed to the Origin Tree. Nearing the Gnarled heights, a Shyyyo bird that collides with the pod, causing it to toss most of the team and crash on a branch. Shy is mortally wounded, so Zehmi and Jowkazza use up their medpacs to heal her up. Jaan and Sayl are hanging off a branch where the Shyyo bird lands. Wounded, the bird complains to them. Jaan uses his Beast Riding skills to calm the animal, and approaches it with Sayl. Sayl then uses the force to heal the bird. Now befriended, the defender of the Origin Tree allows Jaan to guide it, with Sayl in tow, to the rest of the party, and up to the tree’s peak. Finding the holy spot, Jowkazza feels overwhelmed with what he is seeing. Jaan bonds further with the Shyyyo bird. Sayl uses the compass to find the Prime HoloGrid unit in a hidden location with Shy and Zehmi watching. Upon giving Jowkazza the unit, Sayl hears a singing, following that, she finds a small Kyber crystal. It seems to resonate in harmony with her. Flying on the back of the Shyyyo bird, they land near the space port. Jaan says goodbye to the Shyyyo bird, which allows him to take a feather. Shy and the gang wait till nightfall to sneak into the port and have Jaan pick the infraction boot on the ship. Zehmi and Jowkazza provide the ‘Oomf’ to remove it. Shy powers up the ship and narrowly makes it through the shield gate, immediately jumping into a microjump into hyperspace. |

SWR_507 | Celanon City Shuffle | After leaving Kashyyyk, the Red Dagger and crew stop in interstellar space to allow Shy time to heal and the crew to check on things. Zehmi checks on news from Coyn, finding things strangely silent, except the warning message that keeps repeating: “The Coynite homeworld has suffered an incident and are unavailable for landings at this time. Please divert flights to neighboring worlds and make inquiries to the Imperial Ministry of Information.” Jaan is able to check on the dark net and finds info on Cynabar’s feed, a speech by Queen Em’Tora VII: “I am amongst you at this time, not as for my recreation or sport, but resolved, in the midst and heat of the battle, to live or die amongst you all; to lay down, for my kingdom, and for my people, my honor and my blood. I ask all Coynites that believe in such things, join me and my forces against those that would destroy our way of life and take our honor and blood.” Sayl quietly examines Zehmi’s hammer, finding out that is has a large kyber crystal inside with beskar frame around it. She also examines the kyber crystal she found on Kashyyyk. Meanwhile, Shy spends 3 days in the bacta tank. Jaan does further digging in the dark web, finding information on Dras Antig, he has offices on Celanon, Abregado-Rae, Sleheyron, Enarc,Nar Kreeta, and Zastiga. Main office on Celanon. Slaves, Mining, Shipping, and Weapons. When Jaan is alone, Sayl approaches her, and states, that he must have gotten the short straw with this team of aliens…(I dont’ remember what Jaan said in response..?) Once Shy gets out of the Bacta tank, she gathers the crew in the cockpit and gets the Rebellion on the comms. They order the team to Celanon to procure Proton Bombs and Rhodonium fuel. They are to meet Financial contact Elaiser Newbwat who has access to the funds they need to make the purchase and the contacts to make. Once they have the bombs n fuel they will take them to Coyn to help the resistance there. So the Red Dagger proceeds to Celanon, landing there and arranging payment for services and docking. Going to Stegyy Bar, a posh, art deco bar, they are stopped by the maitre’d and he gets Ms. Newbwat who meets the team outside. They begin walking and talking to a trader named Meeknas, a nalroni. Entering his 3rd floor office, he explains that he has the war materials that the team needs, but there is a snag, it is held up by Dras Antiq, a rival. He proposes that the team steal the artifact in the lobby of his building in trade for them. The artifact is a Zeffo statue found on Dathomir. Said to contain information on an unknown and great power. Protected by HALO corp security teams. The team decides to case the place and see what is really going on. Finding the building’s lobby open, Shy and Jaan enter, while Sayl continues around the other side to look a the back entrances. Zehmi and Jowkazza hang out at Meeknas’ office and check out the library and artifacts. Shy approaches the reception droid and inquires of Dras Antiq. She then checks out the artifact and it’s holodisplay. Jaan meanwhile asks the droid if Reid Casteel is here. The droid says “Yes”, and so Jaan and Shy get in the elevator to go to him. The elevator descends and eventually stops. Water begins to fill the elevator! Breaking out, they find the Underwater Chinese trap, and escape to a reservoir behind the building. Sayl uses her Technopathy to see the tech and traces the Chinese Underwater Hell trap and finds the reservoir, with the emerging forms of Shy and Jaan. HALO Security begins chasing them, but Jaan helps the team escape. After freshening up, the team rejoins Zehmi and Jowkazza at the offices of Meeknas. Shy leaves to go to the Red Dagger and uses its comm array to call the Monks of Uko. She has them steal the artifact, which they then present to her in 4 hours time. She also tells them to tell the lawyers of Weaponeer, they can meet her at the Ploo system in 3 days’ time to sign the papers. Shy takes a holo of it and presents it to Meeknas and declares that Antiq’s goons can pick it up at the Red Dagger’s docking bay. The HALO guys bring the supplies and get the idol. As the Red Dagger crew load the cargo, Jaan has a insight about Meeknas-Dras Antig. They are the same person, so Jaan runs to Meeknas’ offices and finds it cleared out, except for a datapad that has a plain msg: “Reid is on Dathomir. I hope that we can work together again, it was a pleasure.” Jaan, comes back to the ship and asks to stop at Dathomir to find his friend. Shy agrees to a 48 hr stop. |

SWR_508 | Dathomir: 48 hours | In Hyperspace, after leaving Celanon, Sayl calls her Uncle, Javquin, who advises her to “build your resources and allocate appropriately”. He sets up a drop for her on the undervine, so that she can call him on encrypted channels. Rest of the crew prep in their own ways for Dathomir. Exiting Hyperspace on the edge of the system, they cautiously make their way to Dathomir’s orbit. Finding no signs of advanced civilization, they locate the Imperial Garrison and scan it with passive, then active sensors. Upon using the active sensors, they get a lot of stats on the place, but that tripped the Imperial sensors. 15 Tie fighters launch and begin heading for the Red Dagger. Shy begins diving most precipitously for the ground, while Sayl comes to the cockpit with her compass, using that to “find Reid Casteel”. The Ties have lost the trail. Sayl guides Shy, who, after pulling the Red Dagger out of a steep dive, into the canyons of Dathomir, to a temple built into the mountain. Finding a field a lil farther down, near some trees bearing large fruits, lands. Zehmi finds a cammo net for the ship, and with Jowkazza’s help, deploys it to conceal the Red Dagger. Proceeding up the mountain, following a misty and foggy path with these strange trees and large fruit, Jowkazza and Jaan notice a very large ‘Beholder’ creature floating behind them. Not knowing proper response to this, Jaan fires blaster bolts to its central eye, angering it. Jowkazza also angers it, and it tries to paralyze him with a green bolt. Jaan falls down off the path onto a corpse of a Nightsister. Her chest having a round hole in it from a lightsaber. Sayl, attempting to see if it recognizes a lightsaber, activates her Inquisitor lightsaber. Then the one of the eyestalks activate on the Beholder and the fruit and ground move and undead Nightsister Zombies (tm) reanimate and begin to attack the team! Armed with rusty swords and lightbows, the zombies attack. Jaan acrobatically avoids having his lovely face bit off, while Jowkazza continues to attack the Beholder, who seems to miss all our guys. Zhemi uses her hammer to take some out, while Shy slices n dices with her swords, finding that taking the head off stops them. She is then felled by two lightarrows hitting her shapely buttocks. Now incapacitated, she goes down. Jaan uses smelling salts and revives her enough to get her up. Zehmi continues to keep the zombies at bay. Sayl tries turning the lightsaber off. Doesn’t stop the Beholder’s call. Jowkazza gets a lucky hit that takes the Beholder down. With its last breaths, it makes a stronger call, and more zombies come after the guys. Sayl starts running up the mountain, making sure the rest follow. The gang agrees that discretion is the better part of valor and run with her. Making it to the narrow entrance of the temple, they jump inside, with the zombies minutes away, they find a altar with a goblet of water and flimsyplast notes on it in Reid’s handwriting. The notes indicated that drinking the ‘Water of Life’ will stop the zombies. So Jaan takes a sip, nothing happens. Takes a bigger sip, still nothing. Each member takes a big sip, nothing. Zehmi, IIRC, drinks the whole cup, a green outline start to appear on the door. So each member each drink a full cup, resulting in the door covered in a green field, zombies can’t pass through or become inanimate. But it starts to dim, slowly, so the clock is ticking. This Water of Life also heals Shy.Shy starts to look for a secret door. The others find tracks there, other than their own, indicating that others were here. It is determined that it looks like HALO corp and some others. Maybe they have Reid? Shy finds a secret door (Yaay!) and the team heads into the narrow passage, Zehmi leading, Sayl following with the compass, Jaan next, then Shy and Jowkazza. The dark vergence of the force begins to affect the team, increasing feelings of dread and guilt wrack Zehmi, Jaan, and Sayl. Jowkazza and Shy push it back with their iron wills. Zehmi gets ’nudged’ by her hammer, Hyvä'So'tava'sara, which Zehmi then realizes that she may be able to push back with her hammer’s energy! Using her will with her hammer, she causes it to glow brighter and the metaphorical and literal darkness are pushed back. She, Sayl, and Jaan feel better. Proceeding further down down down the passage, Zehmi finds a alcove on her left, with a single bottle in it, marked, after a Languages check, Water of Life. Which Zehmi takes, because Shy will need it. (LOL) further still, more dread pushes in, but then Zehmi uses the hammer to push further back. Down down they go, finding another alcove, with another bottle, this one labeled ‘Potion of Sleep’, which Sayl ultimately takes. Further still, a alcove with a Potion of Haste which Shy takes, and then an alcove with a lightbow and carrying case. This bow is different than the ones seen earlier and has three buttons and a display. Jaan, picking it up and pulling back on the T shaped handle, activates a green energy beam and arrow. the number ‘1’ appears on the display. Next, they find an alcove with a sheathed dagger, pulling the dagger out, they find it slicked with a green slime. No one touches the slime, fortunately. Proceeding ever further, they find a rather tall door, with a hole next to it on the left. After some experimentation, Sayl puts her arm in there to the shoulder and endures little pinpricks and other sensations. The door evaporates with green highlights, revealing a temple. Entering, they see a mural on the left and right, a symbol over the door, an altar with a green mist on it’s top, three alcoves along the back wall. Using various means, Jowkazza and Shy(?!?) ID some of it, with the others helping out. One mural depicts the Daughter, Father, and Son, force beings of legend. Daughter represents the Light, Son, the Dark, and the Father, Balance of the Force. The other mural displays a Nightsister, but none of them could ID her. The symbol over the door, is the mark of the Rakatan Infinite Empire. Competitors of the Kwa, The Rakata were an ancient amphibious humanoid species native to the planet Lehon, and were, according to legend, the first to develop hyperspace travel. Stories also told that the species eventually became extinct as a result of corruption from the dark side of the Force. The three alcoves behind the altar on the dais are not approached. This next bit went out of sequence, but this is the sequence it should have gone in: A voice and a green ghostly figure emerges from the altar, asking: “Where is she? Trianna Daydos, the Lady Raau, scion of Krath and Jedi, Child of Rei Daydos, Jedi Knight. Sister of Eldress Daydos, Queen Mother of Dragons? “ You are not she, Sayl of Varnat, daughter of Carrmad of Varnat Nor you Shy’n’arra Le’Vees, daughter of Mhy’n’Ar Le’Vees Nor you Zehmi Aya Lh’Sratt, daughter of Aza Zuuk Lh'Sratt At this point, the Umu Ninjas show up and begin attacking, trying to get Shy. They want her dead or renounce claim on the Uko, and return the scrolls. Das Antiq is also here, with the HALO grunts and his assistant, Val Faytonni, AKA Elaiser Newbwat. “Ahh, excellent work Captain and crew of the Red Dagger.” “You have done what others could not.” “Henh. With a little nudging from me. Thank you. Henh.” “Henh henh. Step away from the alcoves, and I’ll let you live.” “Sergeant, gather the Kwa holocron and the Rakatan Wraith box.” TO BE CONTINUED! |

SWR_509 | Escape from Witch Mountain | A standoff between the Umu Monks, Mission Group Dagger, Nightsister Kyrsa, and Dras Antiq’s forces. Roll Initiative! Shy begins to battle the Ninjas, attempting to make short work of them. The lead monk knows shadowalk and continues to use it defensively to avoid getting hit by Shy. Other monks attack her to no avail. Jaan begins using the newlyfound bow, and finds the first two settings. HALO corp sergeant runs very fast to grab the Kwa Holocron, while another grabs the Rakatan Wraith Box. They seem to ignore the other chest. Dras Antiq attempt to sway Zehmi, while also trying to stun her. Both to no avail. Sayl tries to intimidate another HALO corp trooper with her purloined lightsaber. Sayl also talks to the spirit of Kyrsa, finding out that Trianna was here, exchanging the apocalypse box for a holocron and the use of her body. Trianna skipped on the deal, so now Kyrsa wants one of our crews’ bodies. Val Faytonni is able to sneak up on Zehmi and render her stunned, then uses her shadow suit to evade and fire upon Jaan and Jowkazza. Jaan net arrows one of the HALO troopers. The HALO sergeant is able to head out with Dras Antig and the netted trooper escapes as well. Shy is knocked out, with ninjas approaching, but a revived Zehmi, after quaffing Water of Life, protects Shy. The rest of the monks are taken out by Jaan and Jokazza, leaving only the lead monk, who attempts to kill Shy, becoming solid to do so. Either Jowkazza or Jaan or somebody takes that opportunity to kill him. HALO corp beat feet out of there, and before MG Dagger can do so, the massive doors close. Nightsister Kyrsa has had enough, there must be a toll paid, and she decides that Sayl is it. Sending green tendrils of Ichor at Sayl, she takes her body over, floating several meters above the ground, begins attacking our crew. The team are able to eventually get Sayl out of the sway, using Zehmi’s hammer. But Zehmi is soon possessed! Shy grabs the chest, which speaks in her mind that “it can help her friend.” and explains that the altar is the source of it’s power, destroy that, Zehmi will be freed. Easier said than done, the altar resists blaster bolts and bullets. Ultimately, Jowkazza uses the poisoned dagger on Zehmi, which breaks the hold and allows Zehmi to throw the hammer at the altar, destroying it. Thus ending Kyrsa’s reign of terror. In the aftermath, Zehmi quickly patches people up, while Jowkazza and Jaan look around. Zehmi is strongly affected by the poison, and Sayl’s attempt to heal her causes even more problems as the poison reacts to the Force, badly. Jaan finds Kyrsa’s Grimoire, which contains the spell to fix the poison. Sayl uses the compass to determine where someone is that could help, also determining that the Water of Life might help at the temple’s gate, far above. Shy discards the case containing the Apocalypse box, and gets the crew moving up all the way to the Temple’s entrance. Zehmi takes a swig of the Water of Life, which does not automatically replenish. The team proceeds to their ship. Getting increasingly weak the further from the box she gets, Shy collapses in the grove of trees, near the ship. Zehmi carries her to the Red Dagger, while the crew piece together what happened. The compass, through some experimenting is indicating that the answer to Zehmi’s affliction is not on Dathomir, but further out, along the Outer Rim. The doc onboard examines Shy and determines that her body has just given up and is dying. Shy orders the crew to leave and save Zehmi. Zehmi refuses and goes back for the Box. She carefully wraps it in a net, so as to not directly take possession of the box. On her way out, she finds another cup of Water of Life filled for her. She quaffs it down and brings the box back to the ship, placing it in the smuggling compartment. Shy quickly recovers, and after some Discussion, the team keeps the appointment on Ploo. | None | 37:12:10 |
SWR_510 | Once in a Ploo Moon | The Red Dagger cruises to Ploo. Shy sleeps in the cockpit, while Jowkazza checks comm logs and mucks with the Nav computer. Zehmi and Sayl conspire to figure out the Apocalypse Box hidden in the smuggling compartment. Jaan examines Kyrsa’s Grimoire which gives some hints to the Bow he found, along with some Dathomir spells, including one that can make a non-force sensitive sensitive(!). Sayl also helped to conceal the Prime HoloGrid Node for the Claatuvac Guild. She finds a spot near the Engineering station, under the floor. They make a case out of a Spacer’s trunk, and secure it there. So, now, Sayl cautiously prepares her Force-sight to look at the box. Zehmi opens the secret access hatch and as soon as she does, Sayl is hit with a series of images, primitive spacecraft leaving a world being invaded, three of the boxes, per ship, six ships leaving. 3 destroyed, their screams being felt to Sayl’s bones, endless drifting, madness, and all of it being consumed by an abyss yawning open and sucking Sayl’s mind into it, consuming all of her. Till Zehmi closes the door, then Sayl is released. They decide to leave the box alone for now. (Probably wise) Shy has vague dreams of avarice, flying, and drifting. Jowkazza receives a Coyn update, rousing Shy for the distribution of. Zehmi is given the communique and Shy does not distribute to the crew. Sayl and Jaan talk briefly about some of their projects. But then it becomes time to land on Ploo. So the team is greeted by Thorne, the senior partner of Thorne Kaldor Zark, Weaponeer Corp has been a client for 18 std years or so. He leads them through a storm of media reporters attempting to get Shy to say something, anything. Quickly taken through the stilt city, they are dropped off at a tower, the tallest in the city, a hotel of some sort. Riding an lift to the top floor, they find an office, with Razor, Zifty, and Krif waiting for them. Shortly after, 20 weaponeer troops show up, along with two droids. Shy asks Thorne if he has the denial form. Thorne quizzically says yes. Shy takes it and signs it, then tossing it to Razor, saying “Keep the company, [Expletive]” then leaves. All the troops and droids stand down and the surviving Shadow Seven look on in surprise, letting them go. [end of that plotline…..sigh…] Later, Shy and the crew grab some needed parts to repair the Red Dagger with. Top cannon fixed, the ship is prepped for battle, Jowkazza spends 3 hours coming up with a very quick course to the get to Coyn in 17 hours(!!). Course locked in, the crew leaves Ploo, telling the Rebellion they are on their way. Arriving, Zehmi in top cannon, Jowkazza in the bottom, Jaan at copilot, Sayl at engineering in the cockpit, with Shy piloting. Red Dagger emerges near the outermost planet of Coyn, Tro’Har, an iceball with no moons. Shortly, an Elrood Prosperity-class Cruiser the Fortune, hails them and tells them heave to and prepare for boarding. Shy accelerates to High Speed, leaving the Fortune in the proverbial dust, so she thinks. Fortune pursues and opens fire. Meanwhile, two Skipray Blastboats arrive from a microjump and begin attacking too. Zehmi, Jowkazza, and Jaan work on the enemy ships, while Shy and Saayl work on channeling ship resources to escape. Eventually, with advice from the Box, Shy takes the Red Dagger into the north pole of the gas giant, finding an eye of a hexagonal storm to hide in, with the magnetic energy at the pole, concealing the ship. |

SWR_511 | The Gauntlet | After repairs, emerging from the north polar storm of Ba’Har, Coyn’s gas giant 4th planet, the Red Dagger attempts to make it to the 3rd moon of Ba’Har, Ba’Har Sarrh = Battle Blade’s Law, in an attempt to find a place to hide. Intercepted by 6 TIE interceptors and the skipray blastboat Vishanti. Another mysterious ship decloaks and takes shots at the Red Dagger. Valiantly, the Red Dagger crew make way through these forces until the Vishanti gets a lucky hit with Capital scale Ion Canons. Many systems including flight systems. Jaan calls out to two Coynite ships, the Freedom Sword and Blade of Law, who agree to help them. Shy bluntly fixes the flight controls, while Sayl keeps the other systems running. The cloaked ship reappears behind the Red Dagger where the inoperative sensors can’t see. They fire upon the blind Red Dagger, but they still miss! Shy pumps the brakes and the phantom is now in front of the Red Dagger, allowing both Shy and Jaan to fire concussion missiles at it, causing damage, but not enough for the cloak to stop working. It recloaks. Gunboats and a missile boat attack, all missing. The Phantom decloaks, but Shy is ready, looping around behind it again, this time Jaan uses the last missile to destroy it. The Coynite ships destroy the rest. Freedom Sword takes Red Dagger onboard. | None | 37:12:12 |
SWR_512 | Daughters of Zor | Aboard the Freedom Sword, the crew meet Captain Kan’Sar Shas Lag'Gal Son of Khour Mak Tyna Lag'Gal, house of Lag’Gal. Allied with the Queen, and Zor, Zehmi’s dad. He gives greetings and tells Zehmi he has news of her family. They go to his ready room and he tells her of: 1. “I report that your brother Zorm Mol Lh’Sratt, 1st son, fighting for the Th'aya House forces, is marked as ‘missing’ after the Imperial bombardment of Kroyn’Tal, during the Days of Dishonor.” 2. “Your other brother, Zig Oun Lh’Sratt, 3rd son, fighting for the Queen’s forces is also missing. The same battle.“ 3. “There is more: Zihla Ama Lh’Sratt, 3rd daughter, gave warning to Lh’Sratt house and they were able to prepare for the bombardments upon Ah’Kra and Kra.” “For this she was eventually captured. “ “The Empire intends to kill her soon” “House Lh’Sratt and others intend to rescue her. “ “They ask for your ‘help’ along with Sayl’s since she is also honorbound. “ “Your friends are welcome as well. “ “What say you?” Zehmi answers “Yes”, and the Freedom Sword prepares to return to Coyn, breaking the blockade, made easier by the fleet engaged trying to find Red Dagger. Sayl remains on the ship for a time, making further repairs and more permanent fixes. She also bolts closed the secret compartment containing the Apocalypse Box. Resisting its entreaties. The rest of the crew explores the Elroodian designed ship that has been Coynited. Eventually Sayl leaves the ship, encountering Captain Khour. Upon meeting Sayl, he says: “Ah! The alien that has caused so many problems. Shorter than I imagined.” From there, the ship enters Coyn atmo and releases the Red Dagger. Proceeding on, the crew of the Red Dagger approach Ah’Kra, city of the Common-Crafters. The massive shield over the city opens and allows them in. Cruising over vast shipyards and factories, they see a unique vessel being constructed. It’s in the LhSratt shipyards, which is the domain of Zehmi’s brother, Zas Ala Lh’Sratt. After landing the crew are greeted by the Lh’Sratt family. After landing, the crew are greeted by: Zor Mala Lh’Sratt-Father, standing tall, couple new scars on face, armored up, marked, dented, sword at his side. Aza Zuuk Lh’Sratt-Mother, armored up too, equally dented and marked, holding her polearm (Coyn'skar). Zas Nem Lh’Sratt, second son, stands in a leather outfit with tools and other implements in pockets. The leather has armor bits here and there. His long hair in a braided ponytail. Zara Ala Lh’Sratt- Second daughter, armored and holding her polearm (Coyn'skar). Zyl Pao Lh’Sratt- Fourth son, his armor is less worn than the rest, stands defiantly behind Zor. Sword at his hip. Zug Qil Lh’Sratt- fifth son, stands in robes, no armor, looking contemplative and analytical. Has no weapons, save a dagger. His hair is long and unbound. Missing: Zihla Ama Lh’Sratt, third daughter, and Zehmi’s two deceased brothers. Zorm Mol Lh’Sratt- Eldest brother Zig Oun Lh’Sratt- Third son Greeting them warmly, well as warm as Coynites get in public, they proceed to mission planning, where they are joined by some other house heads and Queen Em’Tora VII. Zor leads the meeting, explaining the Imperial Garrison and how they will infiltrate. They will use the Skraj'Har-Class Gunship, which Zas has built. He needs Sayl’s help with some of the power issues and such. The gunship will transport the infil team to the catabombs entrance. The catacombs were part of a Kroyn training facility. Several of the Coynites don’t like this plan, it feels cowardly. Team 1 will go into the Garrison from below, and infiltrate to the detention block. Team 2 will guard the entry, and setup explosives. Everyone departs for what they need to do, Sayl heads to the Lh’Sratt docks to work on Skraj'Har. As she passes an alleyway, she sees Raaz sweeping in front of the hovel, muttering “Gotta be ready for Rei. Making a pie!” “Or was it Sayl? Hmph so confusing.” “Maybe the boy–girl will come too!” Sayl approaches her, and Raaz, seemingly coherent, because GM couldn’t do it right, begins explaining the Force to Sayl and tries to determine if she is up to embracing the light or the dark. Sayl asks many of her questions as well. Towards the end, Raaz emphasizes that the crew “You must go to Jhas Krill, the eleventh moon of Jhas, in the Anoat sector, answers you will find there. Shelish knows much. Pretty boy Jaan will find what they seek as well. Cure for Zehmi too!” Armed with this knowledge, she heads for the Skraj'Har. After a few hours, Sayl has the Skraj'Har humming along. The team sets out and smoothly lands and runs into the catacombs, quietly making way for the underside of the Garrison. Jowkazza sets up explosives to breach it, and the team makes way inside. Finding power systems and shield generators, the team gets to a computer station and finds the proper turbolift to the Detention block. Entering the security block, they take out the lt and troopers there. Zehmi and Zug Qil Lh’Sratt- fifth son, along with Sayl, open the cell containing Zihla, some smart interplay between Zehmi, Zug, and Zihla happens, regarding honor and remaining there, but ultimately Zihla decides to leave. Jowkazza, guarding the door into the block see many troopers and coynite warriors enter the area, an through the mists, steps the glowing red eyed stare of Lord Malus. “Stand down Jowkazza. You know you can’t hurt me. I assume the rest of the team is in there?” |

SWR_513 | Big Trouble in En'Tra'Tal | Malus calmly walks past Stormtrooper and Coynite warriors, speaking: “There is no escape Sayl of Varnat, surrender now, and your friends will not suffer. Much, or for long. Resist and it will go for the worse, girl.” He freezes Jowkazza in force stasis and uses tk to hurl him into the far wall. Thankfully, Jowkazza is minimally affected by the impact due to armor. Shy responds by throwing a thermal detonator into the space and closing the door. The explosion takes out the door and separating wall, leaving the team exposed. (Force Barrier) Next, Zug Qil Lh’Sratt- Fifth son, a monk of mok'bara (a martial art), slips in and tells Shy to stay behind him, as he takes out two approaching troopers, ending up across the open wall. Shy tosses Zihla Ama Lh’Sratt- Third daughter, her blaster, which Zihla uses to kill a trooper. Sayl rushes to Jowkazza’s side and attempts to end the stasis, to no success. Jaan uses his bow to launch attacks at troopers and Malus. Zehmi approaches the troopers, activating her hammer, and taking a couple out. Malus taunts her: “Family ties, that which I lure you here with. A weakness for a warrior.” “You skulk about like a Af’harl, Zehmi. Show me a real warrior.” Keeping her mettle, she continues to fight. Finding that the team isn’t responding to his threats and Sayl ain’t surrendering, he snatches Jowkazza with TK and Malus puts him before his blade. Using his TK he shatters Jowkazza’s hand, causing him to cry out balefully. Malus continues to bait Sayl, who then charges him with her purloined lightsaber, he dodges her clumsy attack easily and zaps her with force lightning. She falls upon Jowkazza’s stasis form. Shy orders Zehmi, Jaan, and herself to coordinate attacks on Malus, while Zehmi’s brother and sister take on troopers and warriors. The trio attack, Zehmi pushing Malus with the hammer across both her hands, he slides back several meters while Shy gets behind them and attacks with her swords. Malus evades the attacks, depending on the force to enhance his attributes and danger sense to feel the attacks before made. He notes that Zehmi’s hammer contains a large kyber crystal, and he can feel its power. (uh oh) Jaan attempts to hit Malus at range with arrows, but he easily dodges them. Zehmi Attempts to use the hammer to push out lightside energy, like on Dathomir, but forgets that she is infected with poison, which then activates. She is still standing, barely, but Malus feels the tremendous energy. Shy then attacks with both swords as scissors, attempting to cut his head off. Malus’ enhanced strength and armor help keep him alive, but he uses acrobatics to retreat and get distance from Shy n Zehmi. This does distract him and he looses his hold on Jowkazza, who then first aids Sayl to conciousness, gets her upright, punches Malus with his good hand, and then he hides behind a turbolift. Malus then pulls on the hammer and drains its juice, forcing Zehmi to fight him, will to will for the hammer. She wins, but at great cost, as the poison nearly kills her. Draining the hammer’s energy, Malus unleashes it in a megabolt that hurls Zehmi against the furthest wall, adding injury to insult. Many of the storm troopers and team members are hurled around, including Sayl who lands in a heap by the control panels of the detention block. Malus then Zaps Shy with Force Lightning and prepares to drain her life, gleefully. Sayl is awakened by a familiar voice: “Wakeup dearie! You need to escape!” Sayl opens her eyes to Rozz peering over her. “Your path out is below you.” Rozz looks at the floor and then Sayl’s lasersword. “I’ll keep him busy as you and your friends leave, hurry now!” Rozz begins walking towards Malus with her broom in hand. R: “Hello Malus, so much rage and nowhere to put it.” M: “Old woman, who are you? Jowkazza debates attacking, but then decides to grab Shy. Sayl uses the sword to cut the floor, finding an identical space below. Zug and Zihla grab Zehmi and jump down. Zug takes out the Stormtroopers there. Still evading, Rozz continues to taunt Malus: R:“Oh I have had many names, Arinya, was one. I am Rozz now, I think?” M:“You will soon be dead. Hold still!” R: “Ooops, too slow, happens to beings of your age.” M: “Who are YOU?” Malus is really loosing his poodoo here. R: “Hmmm, now, now, dearie, you’ll ruin the surprise. Spoilers!” Sayl and Jowkazza, with Jaan and Shy in tow, jump down and unlock the turbolift. They decide to setup the explosives at the generator site, but are seen by a probe droid, so stormtroopers start filing in. Jaan fires a net arrow and a dome arrow, while Shy,newly revived, and Jowkazza, toss grenades. Sayl finds the optimal spots for the bombs, and their Coynite allies arrive to help move Zehmi. Zor is in the lead while Sayl does a talk and run, explaining what happened. Meanwhile, Rozz sees that the team left and faces Malus: R: “I’ll see you later, sweetie.” …And promptly fades from view… M: “Arrgh!” Boarding the Skraj'Har, Zor orders Shy to the helm, Sayl to the engine room, Jaan, and Jowkazza to the gunner stations. Zor orders liftoff and Shy lifts off smoothly, with 4 ties in pursuit. Shy finds a nice crevasse and proceeds up it till it narrows, then taking a 90 degree turn, leaving one Tie to crash. Two remaining ties face Jowkazza and Jaan’s fire, which depletes their number. A Tie Advanced arrives on the scene and the team continues to fight it. Zor orders Sayl to boost sublight engines while astrogation plots a course to the farside of one of the moons of Coyn. He then orders Shy to climb and ready to jump. The Skraj’Har engines cut out and the ship begins to fall, Sayl figures out the issues and restarts the engines, Shy pulls up, and the ship jumps. Later, at Lh’Sratt shipyards, the team preps Red Dagger to leave. Zehmi is in the medbay where the 2-1b droid reveals that if they use bacta, Zehmi would die. She has days to live. Zor asks for a report, and Sayl gives the lowdown. Zor then agrees with the plan to let them go and cure Zehmi. (After he has a moment with her in the medbay, with the door closed. Can’t show affection in public. Coynites, amiright?) Sayl uses the force to knit Jowkazza’s hand back, and he goes and begins to plot a course. Sayl reminds him that they have the Core from the guild onboard and use it to find a secret and direct route to Jhas Krill. Shy takes off and they jump into hyperspace. Sayl and Jowkazza immediately disconnect the core and put it back into its hiding place. Shy soaks in the bacta tank for an hour and then in the tub. Sayl spends 6 hours in the bacta. 12hrs to Jhas Krill! |

SWR_514 | The Witching Hour |
Arriving at the Hoth System, right up to Jhas, the gas giant, of which Jhas Krill orbits. Scans show no civilization, but life signs are out the roof. Sayl, sitting vigil on Zehmi in the medbay, comes to the cockpit with the compass after being bid to do so by Jaan. Jowkazza finds a small settlement in the meantime, but Sayl’s compass verifies that this is the spot. Shy pilots the Red Dagger to the location, flying over the place, and finding a field to land in nearby. Kitting up and Disembarking, the team are met by a large wookiee, by the name of Owacchi. A rather irritable fellow, he won’t let them pass until they say that they are here for Shelish, to heal Zehmi. Begrudgingly, he leads them to Shelish’s hut. Shelish greets them and tells Sayl that what she seeks, the one she seeks is over the ridge. Leave now. Shelish then gets about fixing up Zehmi. She uses Jaan, who she dubs “pretty one” as a battery to keep Zehmi alive. Jaan reluctantly lays in the muck. “Ew” Shy and Jowkazza follow Owacchi to a mountain, which they then climb, finding a cave, they travel through it to a crevasse which is deep enough for 50ft of rope…. They climb down. Sayl climbs over the ridge to find Rozz’s hut and Rozz. After incredulously talking with her, Sayl wonders what’s going on, really. The illusion of Rozz and the hut fade away, and on the opposite ridge, a figure in black pulls her hood away, revealing the face of Trianna. “Hello Sayl, I’ve waited a long time to meet you.” “I’ve watched you for a few months.” “It’s not as creepy as it sounds, really.” “Let's go walk over to my camp, shall we?” “Oh yeah, I’m, uh, I’m Trianna. Trianna Daydos, that’s my name.” “Heh, still not used to that.” “I’m not the teacher you need, probably, my mother, Rei Daydos or my sister Eldress would probably be better. But the Force has put us in each other’s path. So here we are.” “I tend to talk a lot and ramble, so feel free to interrupt. Questions?” Sayl is rendered semi speechless for a few min. Climbing down the Crevasse, Shy and Jowkazza are both given visions. Jowkazza thinks he sees the lil lemur alien rascals and almost pursues them. Shy sees Phao Bast, but realizes that she can’t be here. (Darn it!) So they start grabbing the mushrooms, carefully, and placing them in the sack. Climbing down, Owacchi guides them next to the desert fields, where a wuffa female worm awaits. They have to gather the female essence of the worm. (Gross) Sayl’s training begins: “The Jedi deserved to be Extinct. In Ten Lessons, I’ll demonstrate why.” “Oh and why Balance in the Force is important.” “Maybe a lil about how to use the Force.” “Sit in the muck, reach out and feel with the Force, tell me what you see.” 1. The Force naturally exists in balance; that balance is thrown out when someone chooses to give in to their fears and then spirals out of control making selfish choices after selfish choices. 2. How one chooses to wield the Force determines where they stand with it and the only two ways to use it are selflessly or selfishly you're basically either using it to serve and help others which propagates the light or spreads goodness or you use it to get or accomplish things for yourself which manifests the dark side or brings about evil. 3. “Your focus determines your reality” as Qui-Gon Jin once said. One of the few true jedi left during the pre-Empire era. He was one that still followed the Will of the Force over the Will of the Senate. Jedi, True Jedi, don’t follow a government. Focus on serving and helping others, as best you can. Back in the desert realm, Wuffa, when the female was ready to mate, she would leave a trail of semi-viscous slime, that would attract males. Jowkazza and Shy have to collect some into a jar. Watching out for lightning sand, a large female grabs Jowkazza in its mouth, attemping to swallow him. Shy tries to cut it and fails. She then leaps onto the worm’s back and begins to try to wrangle it. Jowkazza tosses a frag grenade down its throat. He is expelled, but since armored, is protected. But Shy falls into the lightning sand. Owacchi lassos her back to safety. They then collect the essence. Making the way back to Shelish’s. Sayl continues training: Leaps and climbing trees, finding the force and having it flow through her and guide her actions. Lessons continue: 4. A well-meaning person can try and use the Dark Side of the Force from time to time without falling into it, but here’s the rub: They will fall if they fail to recognize what's happening and bring themselves back from the cusp. The more you do use the dark side intentionally or not, and the more you get the results you want from using it, The more likely you'll fall to the Dark Side. It’s very tempting, like an addiction. Once you start using it and you find out how easy it is to get what you want by using it you tend to want to use it again and again and again because yeah, it's easy to get what you want with it but at the same time it takes control over you you're acting in service of it and you never even realize things have flipped. 5. The Dark Side is the quick and easy path, definitely. But both sides are in balance. A light side user has the same power as a dark side user. It just took the light sider a lil longer to get there. It’s not more powerful than the light. Just a quicker and easier path to the Same Result. It's always easier to get mad and act impulsively than it is to stay calm and think and then to act rationally. Sure there's those unnatural abilities that the dark side offers but if you're trying to be a good person and do the right thing, you certainly don't have any interest in cool abilities like force lightning. 6. Avoid walking and talking vergences in the Force, like Luke Skywalker. Avoid! People like him have strong destinies and cause people like us all sorts of difficulty. Besides, we need to do our work without them messing it up. The lessons continue and become more strenuous, but Sayl discovers using the force to enhance helps. She also learns Farseeing and how it informs. 7. Anonymity is a Force User’s first line of defense against the Galaxy's hostility.. Hide your abilities, use them rarely and appropriately. (Yeah, right, like you and your team ever do anything quiet.) 8. Anyhow, the second big key of the Light Side of the Force is propagated by those living in balance meaning the light side is balanced and those who use the dark side cause imbalance because it is the dark side. So you should seek above all else to keep the Force in balance to keep it in this natural state of being. To use the dark side and risk knocking it out of balance especially when yet again the dark side offers no more power than the light side does. Not that a jedi is even seeking power per se. 9.Keep in mind that balance is not equal parts dark and light. Balance is simply harmony. It's basically a system working as intended. Think of it like a human body. Are we balanced or working as intended when we have equal parts sickness and health within us? What if we have just the right amount of healthy cells compared to cancer cells? Of course we're not. We're healthy when we're free of any and all cancer and sickness and our immune systems are ever on guard to keep things that way or to fight when they're not. Which is exactly what the Jedi do for the galaxy they stand on guard to keep things balanced and fight when they're not. Which explains even further what happened with the Jedi of the pre-Empire era and why they fell or failed. 10. Sometimes we can be well-meaning but still make the wrong choices. We can think we're good people that we're doing good but really we're not. So the Jedi of the pre-Empire era were basically doing this very thing. They were well-meaning and thought they were doing good by working with the Republic but they were more like an overactive immune system at that point. More so than anything else they were out there trying to do way too much and so they missed the real threat right under their nose which was of course Palpatine. To say again, the lightside is balance it's being selfless it's a symbiotic system of many different beings all living together and working as intended while the dark side is imbalance it's selfishness it's individuals only looking out for themselves and being parasitic and a parasite of course has a really bad habit of eventually killing their host and so then, thinking balance is somewhere in between these two. Sayl asks what Malus is? Trianna explains: “He isn’t really a “he” more of an “It”” “Malus is what is called a Derriphan.” “Derriphan were creatures created from the Dark Side of the Force.” “Several years ago, he possessed a friend of my mother’s, called Jearick Craystal or when he was a jedi, Rakien Voss. For the next 12 years, she fought him, trying to get Jearick free from Malus. Then Eldress, Shy, Jowkazza, and the others took him out, apparently. They ended up stranded on Barso for a year, until they figured a way to teleport off that rock. The story about how Malus came back will have to wait a little longer. Time to get back to the others.” Shelish has the materials Shy and Jowkazza gathered added to a cauldron and feeds its contents to Shy, Jowkazza, the unconcious Jaan, and Zehmi. Inside the spirit realm, they find Zehmi fighting innumerable foes. Who then also attack them. Fighting them doesn’t seem to help, but Shy tells Zehmi this isn’t real, so Zehmi decides not to fight and use the hammer to free them. Waking up, they find themselves covered in vines and nothing else. For Jowkazza, not a problem. After finding their clothes, they prepare to find Sayl. It is revealed that they have been here for 5 weeks! Trianna introduces herself and suggests the team go to Hoth where the rebels are establishing a base. Finding the Red Dagger sunk in the muck, Trianna and Sayl use TK to pull the ship out of the muck, to the amazement of the crew(?). After checking the ship, they leave for Hoth. (This cutscene was supposed to happen at the end of session, OOPS!) CUTSCENE: The Arc Hammer 2, somewhere in space…. The Sathanas approaches the Arc Hammer 2 A shuttle leaves its hanger bay, entering the Arc Hammer 2’s hanger bay. Malus disembarks. An aide comes up to him “Milord, the latest status reports on Project TIE Phantom, Project Firedust, Project Deepwell, and Project Shadowstar.” Malus scrolls through the datapad, while walking briskly into the Arc Hammer 2. “Lt. Harrow, have Lt. Gearon Rath of the ISB, to investigate on Coyn, the house Lh’Sratt, look for any information on a hammer. Have the Phantom team increase production on the prototypes. Pull teams from Project Firedust. Also, take my notes from their recent skirmish with the Red Dagger.” He walks along a catwalk over a large factory bay where 3 TIE Phantoms are in various states of construction…. |

SWR_515 | Rebel Conspiracy | Taking off from Jhas Krill and going to the edge of the system to the frozen planet of Hoth, two X-wings intercept the Red Dagger and guide it down to a plain in front of a cave entrance. Rebel troopers greet them and escort them into the cave, where they find Rebel technicians and workers carving out hallways and hanger space. Soon equipped with snow rated gear, they are taken to General McQuarrie who gets their bonafides from them. They are then transported via a 5 day trip to the Nebulon B frigate Vestal. They are then taken to a conference room while Sayl is taken to the brig. Attending are: Dr. Vandus Furon, Princess Leia, Commodore Perrinn Sen, and Gen Airen Craken. The team are questioned, together and separately about Sayl of Varnat and her ties to the empire. Particularly pointedly are questions from Dr. Furon. Apparently Sayl worked on Project Firedust: Using Kyber crystals in Capital weapons, eventually miniaturizing Death Star Tech. Sayl is a mass killer, responsible for the death of her team. She is also reportedly involved with Malus’ Project Shadowstar: Using Kyber crystals in a gravitic weapon, ripping spacetime and causing significant damage. Additionally damning is Dr. Furon’s evidence of encrypted transmissions from the Red Dagger after leaving Coyn, on the way to Shy’s meeting with Weaponeer. Grilling the team individually about these transmissions, Sayl having access to the ship, and other matters with Sayl, the team resists negatives about her. Sayl is brought in before the team and the panel, recognizing Dr. Furon, she prepares her defense. Dr. Furon begins frothing at the mouth with accusations which Sayl deftly defends. Princess Leia begins to push back on Furon and asks Sayl her motivations for joining the Rebellion. Sayl wishes to blow up the factory on Kasshyyk and liberate Coyn. When asked how far is she willing to go, she says “Whatever I can do” Leia, Commodore Sen, and General Cracken are pleased with the answer. Dr. Furon leaves the meeting. Sayl is to go back to the brig temporarily as the panel deliberates. Shy heads to the observation blister, while Jowkazza looks for Guild markers, Zehmi guards Sayl, and Jaan goes for a walk around the ship. However, Jaan notices the crew behaving strangely, also synchronized in a way. Sometimes a glowing red eyes. On the observation deck, Shy also notices this behavior too. Shy calls the crew to the obs deck, Jaan and Jowkazza headed that way. Zehmi, after prompting by Farseeing Sayl, senses Dr. Furon grabbing Zehmi’s hammer, heads for the armory. Sayl hears Furon refer to bringing the hammer to his father.(?) In the Observatory, as Jaan enters, greeting Shy, several of the people turn, and with glowing red eyes, stare at them. They stand up and an draw blasters. Shy flies into action, taking them on. Jaan tackles one and grabs their blaster. Shy knocks out and takes another one’s blaster. Sayl begins on breaking out of the brig. Zehmi makes it to the armory, fighting possessed guards. Using her connection to the hammer, she senses it coming to the door. Dr. Furon comes through the door, wielding the hammer, using it to zap Zehmi, after a contest of wills over the hammer. Zehmi falls. Again. :( Possessed crew enter the brig, attempting to get Sayl, but she uses Force Push to knock them out. (The above power is boring. -H.) She heads to the Armory. Jowkazza makes it to the observation room and shoves one into a window, cracking it. Quickly grabbing the other possessed folk and tossing them out of the room, Jaan and Shy grab their zombies and take them out of the room. One last crewperson is knocked out, as the trio head for the armory. Dr. Furon begins beating Zehmi with the hammer, to no effect, but fascinated with the process. Sayl enters and attempts to wrest the hammer from Furon with a force-backed willpower roll. Successful, she takes the hammer and attempts to make the hammer glow with the light of the force. Successful, she is able to destroy his flesh suit revealing a dark energy creature. Sayl asks who he is and who his father is. “Why dear girl, my father is Malus, and I am his son Hive!!” His evil laughter is cut short by a laser whip lashing out from behind him, Trianna has arrived! “Got the princess to safety, what have you found here?” While holding Hive in the whip’s grasp, she uses the force to wake up Zehmi, and instructs her to combine wills with Sayl to pulse the hammer again at Hive. They do so as Shy and company arrive from the turbolift. Hive is destroyed. Or is he? Sensing danger to the princess, Trianna orders the gang to life support control on another level. Hurrying there, they find guards still possessed, and Commodore Perrinn Sen with a blaster at Leia’s head. Making quick work of the guards, they confront the “Commodore”. Shy cuts off the arm holding the blaster and then Zehmi and Sayl use combined wills again to blast Hive and envelope the ship in light, vanquishing Hive from there. Afterwards, with the ship and crew recovered, newly minted Rebel, Lt. (JG) Sayl of Varnat along with MG Dagger are on the ship’s bridge, standing with Princess Leia, looking out at the stars, the Princess says “Perrinn Sen was an old friend from Alderaan, fewer of them everyday. I shall miss him.” Trianna and Sayl have a moment, where she she says: “That’s how we will beat Malus, with the hammer and our wills, push the light out of Malus.” Sayl asks who Malus’ host is. Trianna: “Well, I was hoping until a lil later to lay that one on you. Rei Daydos, my mother, former Captain of the Freedom, is the current host of Malus. And we will free her from him.” Even further afterwards, MG Dagger gets back to Hoth and Echo Base, finding the Red Dagger buried in snow and frozen. Time to get to work…. |

SWR_516 | Echoes of the Wampa | MG Dagger has spent two weeks on Hoth thus far, helping with dig tunnels or, like Jaan, running patrols riding a Tauntaun and setting patrol markers. Arriving back at the as yet unnamed base, he makes way to the makeshift Tauntaun pen, releasing his mount. Looking for Deck Officer Iambic, he seems to be missing. As Jaan approaches the north hanger, viewing the still frozen Red Dagger. Jowkazza and a rather angry Sayl are working on it. The backup Deck Officer takes Jaan very short report. Jaan offers to help Jowkazza and Sayl with defrosting the Red Dagger. Meanwhile, Shy, Zehmi, Gen Craken, and Trianna are reviewing current statuses of Watza, Malus, and Coyn. Determining where MG Dagger are to go next. Arc Hammer 2 reported in Watza sector, last seen in the Cuthburn system, taking advantage of the slave labor there. Using Weaponeer resources as well. Reported by Agent Dash Lergo Malus is also onboard Arc Hammer 2. Trianna states the team isn’t ready to take him on directly, yet. But maybe work on some of these Weaponeer resources…Which leads Trianna asking Shy about Weaponeer and the clone stuff. Shy would rather ignore all that. She hasn’t been back to see her folks, either. Also in the Watza sector: Grey Damsel is being fixed up as a permanent base. Should be Operational in another month. The Shipyards at Remetik are working at capacity. These shipyards with be Rally Point Dorn-1. Rebellion Codes are not broken, thus far. The Fleet’s Fifth Division will be attached there. The Fifth Division consisted of an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate the Nebulon Ranger with Capt. Risha Eclissu, 2 CR-90 Corvettes, several Gallofree Transports, and four X-Wing escorts. One medical frigate, the Relief General Rieekan will be assuming command of this base, in a month, and has some ideas about evacuation strategies already. Coyn; the Queen’s forces are in a stalemate with Imperial/Th’Aya forces. Need to find their supply chain, and break its links. Might be a job for the team, Jaan and Sayl might be good for it. Maybe use that Nalroni you found, Dras Antig, shake him down. Or the Hutts? Shy figures Dras might be better. Jaan goes to the mess hall and finds out from the crew a droid is missing. R5-E4 missed his maintenance rotation in Corridor 5. Digging slightly further, he finds out Deck Officer Iambic was last seen in Corridor 5 as well… Going back to the Red Dagger, he mentions this to Sayl and Jowkazza, who are ready to go check out Corridor 5. Zehmi joins in too, and Shy, when she arrives, decides to go as well. The team heads down corridor 5, finding at one point, the lights out. Using goggles, Jowkazza discovers a hole in the wall. Zehmi ignites her hammer to light up the way. Going into the hole, they find a huge cave, not touched by the Rebellion’s engineers. Soon, the team is attacked by Wampas! When Jowkazza kills one, the rest respond by calling out, almost intelligently, and more appear. Jaan is knocked down, as is Sayl. Both are dragged away. Zehmi saves Jaan while Shy gets Sayl back. After fighting to a stand still, Shy discovers a cache of space bombs, which the team uses to collapse the cave entrance and bring down the large cave, killing all but one of the Wampas, who escapes to the outside, howling…. |

SWR_517 | Rescue on Ralltiir | A couple of weeks later on Hoth, the team are given a mission to Ralltiir to rescue scientists that have designed and constructed a forcefield generator for the Hoth base. They are to get the scientists and the parts for the generator. The crew decides to steal a bulk cruiser and hide the Red Dagger aboard it. Trianna finds a transport headed to Ralltiir, the HandyMax, out of Denon’s spaceports. So the crew flies to Denon and quickly takes out the crew thanks to Shy’s feminine wiles. Jaan flies the ship, and the crew make the 12 day journey. Shy and Trianna sort some of their issues out, while Jaan and Sayl become more friends. Zemi studies the ancient texts of Hyvä'So'tava'sara (Good War Hammer), finding out that the warrior who made it, Tawws’Kroyn Kra La’Chu’Lom'Ka'Sol Lh’Sratt “Most Honorable Champion Warrior,A Crafter and Cunning little fox, who will not be caught, was thus from straight out of the cradle.” Built it with the help of an Mandalorian ally and a Jedi. The Mandalorian donated the metal, while the Jedi donated the large Kyber Crystal. The hammer is commanded by willpower. It can fire bolts of energy, glow and push darkness away, create a protective shield, enable the user to see far, or in the past or in the future, and pull things to it, metallic or such is easier, organics, not so much. Jaan continues to review the Dathomir Grimoire and his friend’s journal, along with cleaning weapons. Jowkazza reviews subspace channels, official and dark. Jaan checks out some darkweb sites in an effort to see what bounty hunters may be hunting Sayl. Finally arriving at Ralltiir, they easily make it the the spaceport and dock. Trianna, Sayl, and Jaan sneak into the imperial facility and disable the shield, while Zehmi, Shy, and Jowkazza rescue the scientists with the help of a local rebel, Sgt. Reese. Arriving at the building housing the scientists, they find it demolished. Reese knows of some sublevels, and leads the team there. Meanwhile, Jaan cons past security and gets that team in. Taking out the imperials in the Shield control room, Trianna and Sayl work on the computers to disable them. Jaan dissuades some young Imperial hotties from entering the control room. Jowkazza takes out a Probe Droid guarding the subbasement entrance with an ION grenade, while Zehmi forces the door open with her hammer. Finding the two cowering scientists, she explains that she is here to rescue them. They bring along 4 more scientists, one of which is being critical the whole way back. Jaan, Trianna, and Sayl make it to Bor’s Orchard, a Gallofree GR-75 transport locked in docking bay 31. Making short work of the stormtroopers, they begin powering up the ship. Shy and the rest encounter a stormtrooper blockade at the dock for the HandyMax. Reese takes all of Jowkazza’s munitions and sets up a distraction, allowing Shy, the scientists, Zehmi, and Jowkazza to escape, utilizing Jowkazza’s 50ft of rope. Boarding the Red Dagger, still secreted inside the HandyMax, Shy blows up the cargo area and brings the Red Dagger out. Bor’s Orchard takes off slowly, until Jaan allocates power from sensors to engines, and begins max thrusting out. Red Dagger catches up and runs interference and defense, while Sayl and Trianna onboard Bor’s Orchard use the blaster turrets to also defend. Jowkazza sets a course and Shy slows the hyper drive down to match Bor’s slower one and they jump away. |

Sayl finishes getting the forcefield generators hooked up and working, with the technical team. She is now tasked with getting the snowspeeders adapted to the cold. While on attempt #15, Luke Skywalker stops by and introduces himself to her, thanking her for the work and expressing excitement to fly one. Chewbacca finds Jowkazza and asks if he has the core still. He needs to take it to a wookiee enclave on the planet Lira San. Find a Lasat known as Garazeb Orrelios “Zeb” in the Rebellion. Jaan runs into Solo when coming back from patrol. Solo:“Find any signs of life? I hear you’re from Corellia, where from? Jaan answers and talks about it. “Sounds like a good place, why did you leave?” SGT Maxim greets them and puts the tauntauns away. As Jaan and Solo go to report to General Reikian, he notices tension between the princess and the captain. In the CnC Comms officer, Toryn Farr seems to notice Jaan. In the mess hall, Harlize Dana, head cook, made some Corellian Ryshcate for him. . Shy and Trianna sorting out where to next with Zemi and General Cracken. They figure out the supply flow for Coyn, Dras Antig! He is reported to be on Tython. Sayl attempts to sleep, but has visions: Arc Hammer 2, building more TIE Phantoms, Draining the life of some of the slaves on Cuthbern, Watching some of the Arena games at the Secret Seven’s monastery. Another day passes, and Jaan returns to base after another patrol. He finds out that Luke Skywalker is missing, so volunteers to go out again, to no avail. Sayl works very hard and figures a way to get the snowspeeders to work in the cold, attempt #38, great success! Shy finds the Red Dagger a mess, so Jowkazza tries to help in Sayl’s stead. Mixed results. Zehmi makes a further mess. A treadwell droid swings by to help out. Come morning, Shy, Zehmi, Jaan, and Jowkazza fly out to find Solo and Skywalker. Zev Senesca finds them and much rejoicing. Later in the day, Han Solo and Chewbacca find a Imperial Probe Droid. Which, from the remains, Sayl IDs it. The Empire knows they are there! TO BE CONTINUED! |

SWR_519 | Battle of Hoth, part 2 | Preparations! Plan Kay One Zero! Echo Base prepares for evacuation. MG Dagger, Rogue Squadron and Corona squadron are assigned to fly speeders and Sayl will be in CnC to help with powering the shield and the ion cannon. Jaan helps send the tauntauns out loose, a bittersweet time. During the meeting, Leia says: “Our mission today is not to defeat the Empire. What we must do is to keep the Rebel Alliance alive." A little bit later, A matte black R-41 Starchaser lands and a R2 unit pops out. He says he needs to find Trianna. After doing so, the droid is introduced to Sayl, as R2-D4, the green trimmed droid of Rei Daydos, and has some special modifications. She is to protect him while Trianna leaves. She will meet them back at Remetik shipyards. Sayl doesn’t like this, Trianna understands and goes anyway. Shy, assigned Rogue 7, with Gunner Ce Kimi (a Talz). He’s highly respectful to Shy. Zehmi and Jaan, Rogue 8, Jowkazza, Rogue 9, Gunner Cho Mila (Pantoran Female), very ‘up’ persona, looking forward to taking out the Imps. Sayl sent to CnC, meets Major Toryn Farr, Comms Officer, “Ion Control”, and is sitting between Commander Chiffonage and Corporal Sunsbringer. Leia and General Rieekan soon arrive and begin coord the CnC. Major Farr, mentions to Sayl her sister, Samoc Farr is flying Rogue 6. Back in the Hanger: LEIA: All troop carriers will assemble at the south entrance. The heavy transport ships will leave as soon as they're loaded. Only two fighter escorts per ship. The energy shield can only be opened for a short time, so you'll have to stay very close to your transports. HOBBIE: Two fighters against a Star Destroyer? LEIA: The ion cannon will fire several shots to make sure that any enemy ships will be out of your flight path. When you've gotten past the energy shield, proceed directly to the rendezvous point. Understood? PILOTS: (in unison) Right. Okay. LEIA: Good luck. DERLIN: Okay. Everyone to your stations. Let's go! The first transport and X-wings leave the base “Stand by Ion Control, Fire!” Sayl has to find more power for the Shield and Ion Cannon “The first Transport is Away, the first transport is away” YAAAY! Hanger Bay interior, abuzz with activity, Snowspeeders being prepared for launch Jaan, Shy, Zehmi, and Jowkazza get their speeders and gunners. Out at Echo Station Three-T-Eight, Walkers are spotted : “We have spotted Imperial walkers!” Announcement “Imperial walkers on the north ridge.” Snowspeeders head out Luke directs them: “Echo station Five-Seven. We're on our way” To the Group: “Rogue Group to attack pattern Delta” Veering off of the ATATs and coming around for another pass Rogue 6 Gets hit during the first pass. Shy, Zehmi, and Jowkazza fly evasive vs. ATAT attacks, in CnC, Sayl continues to manipulate energy to keep the Ion Cannon and Shield up. Luke comes around for another pass, and Dak blows up, he peels off, Rogue 11 gets hit. Shy, Zehmi, Jowkazza and Jaan come around and begin disabling some walkers, or dodging blasts from them. Rogue 3 (Wedge) snags a walker, Luke crashes. Shy and Ce suffer a complication with fire control, crashing. Zehmi and Jaan take out an AT-ST and lay it in the path of an AT-AT, and Jowkazza flies with Rogue 5 and takes out the one Wedge tripped up. He gets nicked by a AT-At walker, as does Zehmi and Jaan’s snowspeeder. Blizzard 3 drops Snowtroopers, and attacks 4-4 and 3-8 lines. Sayl, in CnC, which gets hit, helps get Sunbringer out of the debris. She continues to allocate what power she can. Shy, crashes into the snow, her speeder is on fire. Ce is unconscious, Shy cuts him out and pulls him from the wreck. Checking his vitals, notes that he is dying. Ce says “An honor, my princess, I’m sorry I can’t fight with you further.” He dies, Shy begins to run, as the fire reaches the compartment with Proton bombs. Snowtroopers, seeing the explosion, race after Shy. Ground crew are ordered to finish evacs. Completing another pass, Zhemi and Jaan’s snowspeeder blows an engine and crashes. Now in the path of an AT-AT, Zehmi and Jaan struggle to get out of the speeder. Zehmi then runs after snowtroopers chasing Shy, who is climbing a ridge. Shield Generator hit, shields are down. Jowkazza trips the walker coming at Jaan, causing it to fall towards Jaan! Jaan sprints away from it. Hobbie Kamikaze into Lead walker taking out Veers. Fallback and Evac order is given! Jowkazza spins around to attack it’s open bays as troopers repel off of it. However a complication ensues and the speeder becomes wedged in the walker’s troop bay. Sayl runs for the south hanger, finding some other rebels under fire by snowtroopers. Igniting her saber, she begins holding them off and having the rebels escape. Jowkazza and an injured Cho emerge from the speeder and begin attacking the troopers, Jowkazza trips and snags a cable hanging upside down as Cho decimates troopers, only to get shot at from behind by 3 more troopers. Cho falls incapacitated by Jowkazza who gets free and jumps out of the walker with Cho. Running for the others. Zehmi and Jaan scale the ridge to join Shy at the top after taking the troopers pursuing her out. They are ambushed by a team with an E-Web and a Captain. Shy takes out the eweb crewer, while Zehmi takes out the Captain. Sayl force pushes the troopers and runs for it again, catching up to the rebels and finding the passage collapsed. Sayl turns and finds more troopers after her….. |

SWR_520 | Battle of Hoth, part 3 | Shy, Zehmi, and Jaan, are fighting off a Snowtrooper kill squad, while Jowkazza carries a incapacitated Cho, approaching the area. Back at Echo Base, Sayl fights off Snowtroopers while helping two rebels to the transport Bright Hope, enhancing her strength and using force speed to get them there. Shy and the rest of the crew take out the remaining troopers, moving towards Echo Base. They shortly find more snowtroopers who ambushed retreating rebellion troops. Jowkazza enters the fray, taking out some while Jaan and Zehmi take the rest. Shy begins triaging the Rebel troops, finding one dead, many wounded and a few incapacitated. Calling Red Dagger, she reaches R2-D4, who rather crassly explains the ship won’t lift off. Sayl attempts to board, but R2-D4 awaits a confirmation code. Eventually finding one, Sayl boards the ship and gets it rolling, R2-D4 piloting. Bright Hope is concerned that their defender is leaving early… Red Dagger picks up the team and the troopers, allowing the ship’s medical droid, C2-1B2, to start tending to them. Sayl makes sure they are NOT placed in the hold with the hidden apocalypse box! Spread in the lounge and the medbay, the droid begins his work. Red Dagger joins the fleeing Bright Hope, and find TIE fighters and the star destroyer Avarice. Jowkazza attempts to enter astrogation coordinates, and as soon as he is finished, the AstroNav looses power. Meanwhile there is a rolling blackout of power as the cannons and other systems keep knocking out. Shy sets the ship up to allow the turrets to fire easily, while Jowkazza attempts to fix the nav and fire missiles. Zehmi and Jaan in the turrets make short work of several ties. ISD II Avarice then pulls away, heading for the asteroid belt, chasing the MFalcon! After a brief cheer, they get a comm from the nearby transports, Quantum Sunrise, Quantum Foam, Bor’s Orchard, and the Freed Steel, who shortly after making contact, is blown to bits. The group lost their fighter screen and are being picked off by Tie fighters and bombers. Shy decides to swing over and help them out, now that threats to Bright Hope are gone. Quickly taking out the Ties and bombers, and Sayl, with input from D4, has now cleaned up many of the Red Dagger’s issues, prep the ships for a jump to lightspeed, headed for the rondezvous point at Remitik shipyards in Watza Sector. Soon after the jump is underway, Sayl asks R2-D4 about Jedi stuff, finding out that he was originally assigned to Marka Seban, a jedi knight, over 40 years ago. He’s been with Rei Daydos most of that time. Near the end of the Clone Wars, Marka modified him with a Holocron, imparting it with her personality matrix and lessons for her daughter Rei and future generations of Knights. D4 knows about an Apocalypse box that a smuggler named Swoop Fox had aboard the Fel Swoop. She then activates the Holocron, which shows an image of Marka Seban, Jedi knight. “Greetings Jedi, how may I help you?” “Can you tell me about the Apocalypse box over there? Annnd about yourself?” Sayl asks. |

SWR_521 | Clash at Remitik | During the 12h trip from Hoth, Sayl questions the Holocron of Marka Seban about Trianna Daydos, and the history of the Apocolypse box. The Box, when taken up by a new owner, will do what it can to preserve itself. Once ownership is transferred, the previous owner inevitably dies. Trianna, according to the holocron, is trustworthy. Meanwhile, Shy, Zehmi, and Jowkazza see to the wounded and themselves. Emerging from Hyperspace, the find Remitik Shipyards under attack! Imperial Forces: ISD Prowler, INT Repressor, ISDG Sathanas, 70+ TIEs, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta Squadrons, 20 TIE Bombers, and 3 TIE Phantoms, all waiting for Red Dagger to arrive! Malus, calling from the Sathanas taunts “Welcome Mission Group Dagger, to the demise of your rebellion. The routing you took from Hoth reaches its conclusion here. You may be able to save yourself Captain Le’Vess, but the rest of these hapless fools will meet their deaths. So long Rebellion!” On the Rebel side, Nebulon Ranger- Nebulon B Frigate -Lightly Damaged, depleted Raid Squadron, Plunder Squadron 4 Class A Containers, 2 are repair bays, 1 for crew quarters, 3 Y-Wings under repair, from Gold Squadron, 3 A-wings under repair from Blue Squadron, 2 Taylander Shuttles disabled (Taylander 1 and 2), along with the Gallofre transports already with Red Dagger: Quantum Sunrise, Quantum Foam, Bor’s Orchard, and Bright Hope. Nebulon Ranger’s Captain Risha Eclissu hails them: “Hello Captain Shy, welcome to the party. Hopefully you and your crew may have a good way of escaping that interdictor? It’s been a real blast so far! Start doing some of that MG Dagger shit.” Shy organizes a rough plan to take out the interdictor Repressor, having Raid squadron’s Ion Cannons take out the shields, with help from some of the others, Red Dagger will take out the Gravity Well Projectors. The team begins to make short work of TIEs harassing the transports and the containers, when a TIE Phantom appears, and fires Proton Torps at the Red Dagger, 2 others appear and attack some of the other ships. Then Taylander 3 shuttle arrives with a technician crew for Remitik Base, they volunteer to evac base survivors along with another transport. Sayl continues to try and fix things on the ship. Shy pilots, Jaan and Zehmi continue firing the guns, when they work, while Jowkazza works on the evac hyper route, deciding to go to Grey Damsel Base. Same Round, ISD Stalker arrives, releasing more TIEs and firing upon Cap ships. When Jowkazza has a course in mind, Sayl senses something wrong. She decides to use Farseeing and finds that if they go there, the Empire will follow. She determines that the Rebel comm codes were broken by the Empire, they now can listen in on the comms! With that knowledge, the team, while fighting TIE Phantoms, TIEs, and other foofoorah, try to come up with a plan. Malus calls again to speak with Sayl: “I must say, the Varnat family was very welcoming of my contracts for their services. They have erased any sign of you Sayl, formerly of Varnat? Join me and you can rejoin your family. Be away from this strife, continue your work in peace.” Sayl, very tempted, resists the entreaties. She instead comes up with a way to communicate the Hyper Coordinates to each ship: Direct Laser Comms with each ship, then Red Dagger will take out the interdictor! They begin their plan, going from ship to ship, aiming one of the turrets to use the laser comm on each one, until a Phantom TiE Takes out the lower turret, almost killing Zehmi! Red Dagger, heavily damaged, continues going from ship to ship, getting them synched up. While Raid and Pillage squadrons take on the ties and get the shields down on the interdictor. Red Dagger, with Sayl’s technical help, Take out the center power spine for the Gravity Well Projectors. Now the fleet can jump! Which they do. Red Dagger is the last, and after flipping off the Sathanas, Shy pulls back on the hyperdrive throttle, jumping away! |

SWR_522 | A Shy Probe | Arriving at Grey Damsel Base, the team helps get it setup. Sayl works on the shields while the rest coordinate with the other ships. Shy spends some time aboard the Nebulon Ranger, discussing much with it’s Captain, in private conferences… Sayl works on getting the base’s shields functional and after a day, is successful. She then begins work on the Red Dagger. Unfortunately, many of the parts are not available. Gen Rieekan agrees that the supply lines must be established. However, without being able to communicate with the other Rebel fleets and factions, this is impossible. So they have to send scouts out to find what is going on in the galaxy, first here in the Watza Sector, then beyond. To that end, he recalls Shy back to base, where, in a conference room with two other pilots, she gets a mission with a Y-Wing Longprobe to check out Dorriella, Wazta, and Okio systems. The other pilots are to go in the other direction. All are to observe and report back. As Shy says her goodbyes to her crew and power up the Y-Wing, she meets the R2 unit assigned to her, R2-A4. Making the jump to Dorriella, she emerges too soon at the system, caught in an interdiction field. Shortly after popping back to realspace, a TIE interceptor attacks, Shy quickly destroying it, but not before it signaled contact, leading to a TIE Defender, TIE Phantom, and a Inquisitor’s TIE showing up, along with three more interceptors. Shy continues to elude all of them, taking on minimal damage, while fleeing for the Shepards Asteroid belt. A4 uses sensors and finds a station at the edge of the system that is emitting the interdiction field. Meanwhile, Sayl begins to feel danger, and figures out that it’s Shy that is in danger. Gathering MG Dagger together and talking to General Rieekan, she heads for the Nebulon Ranger. Once getting there, she tells a skeptical Captain Risha Eclissu that Shy is danger. Risha quickly orders the ship to prepare for combat and jump for hyperspace, orders Jowkazza to plot a course, and puts Jaan at the helm, with the others on gunnery posts. Quickly the Nebulon Ranger heads out. A nervous Risha pacing the bridge. As Shy enters the asteroid belt, she is blinded by the Inquisitor, she has A4 steer while trying to resist the effects, to no avail. Taking on more damage to the Y-wing, things get desperate, then the Nebulon Ranger shows up on the edge of the system. Turning around, Shy heads for them. Shy’s head becomes a battleground for Sayl vs. the Inquisitor, until Sayl figures out how to push the Inquisitor out of Shy’s head. Unfortunately, the Inquisitor is successful at pulling A4 from the Y-Wing, and he goes tumbling into space. The Nebulon wipes out the ties, except for the TIE Phantom, which watches Shy come back on board, and head out of the system past the interdictor field, which it then jumps. Onboard the Nebulon Ranger, as Shy lands and is covered in fire extinguishers, Captain Eclissu grabs her by the flight harness and gives her a big kiss, then shaking her and says, “Don’t ever do that again!” |
